I get the message it will charge the iPhone. I am using the same 30 Pin connector I was plugging my 4S into and it charged that just fine?
I can control the iPhone from the head unit when plugged in through the CableJuve, but the audio connector cable is needed with this to work for sound (as I expected it would be).
If it can not charge, it is useless... I have yet to try it in another 30 Pin dock though.
One positive though, the audio cable they shipped it works fine in my audio input jack on the head unit. Another cable I was using had a lot of feedback when the lightning connector was plugged in.
To me, the adapter issue is the biggest .."gate" scandal that's come out of the iPhone 5 launch.
To release a new flagship device with a new connector, without its complete ecosystem of adapters and cables is an insult to Apple's customers. Seriously.
