SUV or a pickup makes a man manly, not car.
Correlating objects to “manliness” shows insecurity, which is not manly.

Lots of guys (myself included) are getting the gold. If people think it’s a girl color, let them. I think it’s super Smexy.
Always bought black until this cycle. No regrets at all. It’s so good looking I can’t bring myself to put a case on it.
OMG! Are you a flight attendant back in the day?![]()
Disagree. I had the X silver / white and loved it. It was a nice change up from my consistent black phones. I will admit that I went back to space gray for my Xs. I prefer the black models.I always say the same about silver. Especially the X/Xs silver. Looks very feminine to me for some reason
Not sure your case desire, but I ordered a white case, with pink buttons and back bumper for my wife today from Rhinoshield. Have no connection to them, but love their cases. It leaves the front and back exposed, no cover, but a lip just enough on both sides to protect the screen, glass (front and back) and camera.I purchased a Gold colored XS this time because I wanted to try something different. However finding a nice case to go with it is a pain in the butt. Now I wish I would have gone with ol reliable Space Gray. Anyone else feel the same? My other option is just grabbing a black case and dumping it into that one.
You wrapped ALL the gold in the case. Why does the color matter any more? Here is my Gold in a Totallee case, I am probably going to end up with a Spigen case for a bit more protection up front.

Nice!! How is that case with fingerprints? Is that the frosted one? Here is my Gold in a Totallee case, I am probably going to end up with a Spigen case for a bit more protection up front.
Was set on gold for when I upgrade my (silver) X on the IUP, but having seen it today I'm not so sure. Hard to tell under Apple Store lighting, but it looked a lot less clean than the silver. Reckon I'll stick with silver, but go for the Max.
They really do. While I was waiting in the store for them to bring my iPhone out I was looking at the Gold Max and thought, Hmmmm I dunno. It looks kinda creamish/pinkish on the back. But when I got it home and saw it in natural light I was OMG!! It's beautiful!I find all colours of the iPhone look worse in the Apple store than they do out in the wild. They need to change their lighting lol
Generally, yes, regret the so-called “gold” in both phone Xs and watch S4 SS received Friday.
Not really gold unless you like “tarnished” gold.
Unsure if will return for the cleaner looking silver/SS band (my X is silver), though. Sheer laziness perhaps since already set up email and bank accts.
Will reconsider next week against regular stainless steel.
Brought the gold XS Max. More brass coloured than bright gold. Love it though!
Personally I think the gold Max is hideous. I like the back, but the metal around the phone is .
can't go wrong with blackThats my issues, its rough finding a case that isnt the same color that matches with Gold if that makes sense. It doesnt help that I like having the Apple logo show.
Not. At. All.
They should have called it “Copper” or “Bronze” because the SS band looks like a penny that’s been around a few years - darker than new, but not dull or rusted. It also has a deep rose gold undertone that can be seen in certain light, but it’s not the dominant shade at all.
As for the glass back, it takes on a wide range of colors depending on the directness and intensity of the light. Mine has been in mostly a soft beige-blush to beige-bronze range, but it’s the sheen from the glass that makes it look better than it sounds.
I would say see it at the Apple store or elsewhere, but viewing it inside doesn’t do it justice either.
It’s really beautiful to me.
Definitely difficult to get pictures of that gold.
