I don't regret purchasing my Gold 5S. I bought the gold version because it was something different. I previously had black/white iPhones and thought I'd give it a try. At the end of the day, it's not the colour that matters, it's how well the hardware operates.

This.

And between that and the number of people who bought one just so people would know they had a 5S (and people did... I know one lol) resale will be interesting as well. Unless you're ok shipping to Asia (a CORRECT stereotype isn't a stereotype by the way, and sales in Asia of the KK iPhone bear the facts nicely)

So enjoy your KK iPhone. I'm sure it's "not gaudy" and "classy" and whatnot, but 10 bucks says once the hoopla dies down there will be a LOT of people that regret it.

If you don't, good for you! I hope you and Jay-Z have a diamond encrusted bagel to celebrate your non girlie phone :p

Seriously whatever makes people happy great, but if you don't think this is just a fad I dunno what to tell you... The illusion of exclusivity is a powerful motivator I guess.

Haha pure comedy. Enjoy your dull Grey Iphone and we'll enjoy our gold ones. If anything the appearance of the Space Gray is a regression from the Slate 5. Artificial demand? Ok.

I don't think most people will "regret it" down the line. They'll get BORED of it. We're seeing a lot of people in this thread say they got gold because it was a change of pace from the black phones they had in the past. I'm willing to bet that some people who bought gold now will buy black next time, again, just to get something different.

And why so much vitriol over a color? Is it really that hard to believe some people genuinely like a color you may not like?

Yep I regret buying the gold one rather than the space grey, but it's too late now

I was wondering if I would regret it, which is what made my decision difficult. I decided to just go for it, and I still think it's the best color. I think gold will always be in fashion too. It's been in fashion for thousands of years, so a 2 year contract isn't too much of risk.

i bought a space gray when i was with t-mobile last year, and i regretted it. switched back over to verizon earlier in the year and righted the situation with the gold 5s. to me, it's the best looking one.

I use a 32GB SanDisk Wireless Flash Drive when I need more. Pretty handy too.

I had no idea SanDisk made wireless flash drives. I have heard of wireless hard drives, but not flash drives. I did a google search, is this the one you bought?

Would I be able to use this on a 2011 MBA and attach documents to emails wirelessly? Does in sync via bluetooth? I'm off to get one tomorrow. Thanks!

There isn't a black and gold, if there was I would have bought it. Still wish I got the space grey. The 16gb is fine for me though.

Sorry it's off topic...

The SanDisk is WiFi only, has a great iOS / Android app with basic file management. It can join a WiFi network or create its own hotspot. It supports WebDAV too. When on USB it turns off its WiFi and becomes just a USB 2.0 drive. It also supports micro SDxx up to 128GB. Handy device actually.

Back on topic. I have a Space Grey iPhone, I don't own any gold trinkets.
