I definitely feel ya. Even though the screen is the same size as the Plus... I feel that an opportunity was missed to offer a massive 6 or 6.5 inch screen model... which would now be managable due to the lack of bezels.

This is what I was saying. It’s an opportunity missed.

Lmao have you even held both phones? The width of the 4.7” phone to the X is so similar it is hard to even differentiate. Hate to break your heart but perhaps you should check it out yourself if you think otherwise. I can fit the width of the entire X within the screen of my 8 Plus.....
Read my posts before you spurt verbiage, I think you'll find I have held both phones now. Regardless of how similar it is and whether it's hard to differentiate or not, the previous statement that the X is the same width as the 4.7" is false. Am I wrong or am I right?

Regarding the screen width comparison though, well done, have a cookie. I grew out of the "my c*ck is longer/fatter than your c*ck" games when I left school. If I wanted a plus phone, I'd buy one, but I don't. It's far too wide, uncomfortable to hold, impractical for most pockets, and I simply have no desire for a phablet. The X presents a similar screen area in a significantly smaller form factor, that's the appeal. Yes, the plus is great for video if that's your bag, but the X is hardly crap in comparison! If I'm at home I have TVs to watch stuff on. if I'm on a train or aeroplane and otherwise away, I'll have a laptop and/or iPad Pro to watch media on. I don't watch movies or videos of any significant length on tiny screens. My iPhone X will replace an iPhone SE and get used for much the same stuff - messages, photos, light browsing, navigation and a bit of gaming. All things that are equally as good on, or better suited to the X, especially photos with its factually superior cameras compared to the plus.

This is what I was saying. It’s an opportunity missed.

I'm sure it will come. This one is a "proof of concept" and once they master everything, improve production cost, and they know there is customers for it, they will extend it - probably with a + size, and on the iPad.

True but people assume that 5.8 inch will be bigger then the plus, and Apple should have done a better job saying that the X is just thinner

I tried to tell people on here the X was thinner, and so did alot of other wise people on here too, god knows we tried. I even started a thread saying why people would regret getting the X. But too many people dismissed it, as if me and others on here had some X hate campaign going on. There was no hate, but I could just see from tbe notch and the thinner display relative to the Plus that the X was not going to be for everybody. Tim Cook, seriously he needs to step down.

Everything Apple Pro, credit to him, he was one of the first youtubers if not the first, to mention the thinner display. He even had a cut out of the X screen and the 8 Plus screen touching face to face so you could see the difference. And it was evident. That was the deal breaker for me, thanks EAP.

The sad thing is, some people who are still to get their X who are just expecting it to be bigger than the Plus because of tbe 5.8 inch spec are in for a shock.

To all those people who are returning the X, genuinely sorry to hear this, I was hoping to be proven wrong by everyone, unfortunately I have not been.
