Looking at getting a cheap refurbished 11 Pro Max and am looking at the 64GB.

Just wondering how that feels day to day for most of you. Do your apps fill it quickly then you get into trouble with photos and videos you've taken etc?

My apps are mostly banking apps, Strava, Garmin, WeChat, WhatsApp, Twitter, Youtube.

Sometimes downloads a Buch of games, play once and delete.

I do have a bad habit of not deleting photos, but I need to think of a longer term solution to store them that isn't iCloud. I don't think having 100GB of photos on your phone is a good idea, it's just lazy (which I am). I keep losing lots of cool shots from years ago just because I have no backup solution that's super simple.
Can't get any simpler than iCloud, It just works in the background and I don't even know it's there. Also it they are also automatically on my computer and iPad.

Make sure you run all the relevant checks etc. You Know the old saying if it sounds to good... May I ask where are you purchasing it from?

Got it from a seller on eBay. Feedback was in the 60s, nothing inspiring but I trust eBay and Paypal's protection. They tend to favour buyers I find. Maybe a bit too much!

Have no problem with 64 GB have 20 or so free. I get rid of stuff I don't use and don't need.

64g here. launch day Xr.

171 apps. 3800 photos. 35gb free.

Music is streamed. I consider myself an average user and have never worried about running out of space.

64gig is plenty of storage, no iCloud, don't need 1000 apps on my phone. Still have 30gig free.

64G on my phone and my iPad. 2.99$/mo for 200G iCloud ... do the math. If you keep your devices long and be out in the world all the time, this might not be an option, but works well for me

I went with 128 GB when I picked up my 11 to be safe (and because it was a relatively cheap upgrade). That said I've only used 40 GB of that storage so I could probably live with 64 GB still. I do use iCloud Photos with Optimize iPhone Storage on, and stream most of my music with only a few of my favourite playlists downloaded for those occasions where I don't have cell reception (like on airplanes and some mountain roads) - I think for most people those two things make a big difference in how much storage they end up using on their device.

My previous SE was 64GB and my new SE (2020) is 128GB but, I still have 100GB of free space. For those like me, who don’t try and store purchased item on the phone, or treat it as if it were only entertainment device, 64GB is easily doable.

128gb note 9 user here with 68.9gb available.. Think I'd need 128 on my next iPhone to be safe. I did keep under 50gb easily on my product red iPhone 7 and that was 128 gb at the time.

I have a 64gb 11 pro max and I don’t download much apps and I am using 26gb of 64gb. To me it feels like if you are laid back with downloading and just like (photos but not too much) few games here and there, all the necessity apps (Uber, Lyft, McDonalds) then I would say 64Gb is good for you.

You would need a higher storage capacity if your heavy on photos, apps, games.

......dun dun dun..... whispers *iCloud*

I have a 64GB SE 2020 still got around 39GB left photo's & video's get sent to the cloud then deleted off the phone, I have around 300 songs stored on my phone from Apple Music just in case of crappy network reception, I only install the apps i use plus i don't game on my phone neither, so for me 64GB is more than plenty.

64Gb 6S and currently running around 25gb free. I have plenty of apps although not much in terms of games and i have unlimited data which means i dont have any issues with streaming videos rather than storing locally etc. In terms of photos i dont take loads but every so often i clear them out backing up the ones i want to keep to OneDrive and deleting others. I have a couple of shortcuts, one that picks out all screenshots and let you choose which you want to delete and another for generally letting me easily pick photos i want to delete.

Main thing i have is Music which accounts for about 10Gb of whats used, i have Apple Music but have most of it downloaded to the phone rather than streaming it.

Fair enough with 64G. I normally keep only the apps that I use. I have the theory that the less apps you have, the faster the phone runs.

I've always had 64gb since it became the minimum with iPhone's came close to upgrading to 128gb when buying the iPhone SE 2 but decided to save the money and use icloud storage instead still have 20gb left and could easily free up another 12gb if i have too

The number of applications installed shouldn’t have any effect on a computer if they don’t attempt to run all the time and if they’re all sandboxed.

I like to keep just the apps I need and get rid of clutter of course, but it doesn’t impact my iPhone performance.

64GB 11 pro here. Still have 50GB of free space. I keep my pictures on google photos and only stream music. extra storage would be nice, but I’ve been getting by with 32GB for the longest time so 64GB is like a godsend for me.
