Regular Pro with (finally) a decent weight and feel is perfect to me. Screen is still plenty big enough as I don’t game or watch long videos on it.

Ha, definitely not! I'd stuck with SEs up till now because even the regular pro is so big / heavy (but I caved for a better camera + USB C + avoiding a rumoured even bigger pro next year).

This year's (slightly lighter) pro is manageable, but feels like a brick compared to my 3rd gen SE (which feels like a brick compared with my beloved original SE!). But I've added a popsocket (which I used with the SE too) and a calendar widget on the first page of home screen, which brings the most-used apps (messages & camera) down into easy thumb reach.

Control centre is still a stretch when using the phone left handed (as I usually do, despite being right handed). I don't understand why we can't customise left/right corner swipe!

I switched from a 12 Pro Max to a 15 Pro and am glad that I did. The 15 Pro fits better in my hand and is easier to fit into a small jacket pocket.

No regrets buying a 256GB 15 Pro. Can just about be used one handed which is not possible with the pro max. Not ideal for me who is usually holding something in the left hand whether it’s kids, shopping, their school bag or water bottle.

Never A max again.

Would you mind capturing a photo, showing that when holding the phone with one hand, that your fingers can cover the entire area of the screen without having to shuffle the phone in your hand? Because I'm not going to lie, I'm impressed, you must have gigantic hands!
What a bizarre request. If he's happy with the size, anything else is none of your business.

Heh - nope. I just upgraded from a mini and already think this thing is too large! :)

I upgraded from a 14 Pro to the 15 Pro Max. The last plus-sized phone I had was the 6S Plus, and all those years I was missing the additional screen real estate. Having spent a day with the 15PM, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to the smaller screen size.

Why is that a bizarre request? The Pro Max is too large for the vast majority of people to be able to use their phone with a single hand, but not for him. Like I said, he must have insanely large hands!

Upgraded from a 12P to a 15PM… never go back. The titanium makes it barely heavier than the steel 12P. And size wise it still fits into my front pocket.

I went from a 13 pro max to a 15 pro purely because i wanted a smaller and lighter phone for when I’m out and about. I have an iPad I use at home so my use case may be different from others. The summer clinched it for me as I remembered how fed up I got the summer before not having a phone I could easily put into a shorts pocket.

I’ve adjusted to the screen size very quickly with no regret and I knew I’d get hit with less battery time but tbh it’s not been bad so far. I got through all day yesterday and was down to 18% by bedtime and that was a heavy set up day so not a normal day for me. If I do have to top up before a night out then it’s worth it purely for the smaller/lighter form factor.

I was really tempted for the larger screen and 5x zoom, but I just can't see me getting used to the size - for one handed use of the phone or if I'm out running and need to stash it in a running belt or bag.

I’m in the same boat. I have the 15 Pro and wondering if I should’ve went with the Pro Max because of how this years Max’s are now lighter and slightly smaller and with rounded off edges, they just feel a lot better in the hand.

I may take advantage of Verizon’s 30 day return/exchange. I think I’m gonna put in for an exchange for the 15 Pro Max and just use the Pro until the Max arrives. Then I will decide which to keep. Anyone thinking of doing the same? The 13 and 14 Pro Max’s just felt like bricks to me.

I say give it a shot if the max’s were borderline for you before. I just switched to a pro max from the 13 pro and I think I’ll stay with it.

More for battery life then anything, the size of the Pro is fine but going to regret the battery life. I came from an android for year now and wanted to go back to iPhone for a while. I might just try it for a week or so and return it if I feel that way and just order a max online and wait for whenever it shows up.

I got the pro and my wife got the max. Checking her battery just now, she’s doing much better off than me. It still feels too big to me though.
