- Touch ID may be TOO fast. I much prefer to the old way to leave your finger on it for a second before it opens.
- The sound quality on my old 6 seemed better/louder. May be just me need more testing.
- Vibration is too quiet now. I cant feel it vibrate in my pocket.
- Thought I would like LivePhotos but seems gimmicky after I used it. Dont see myself using it really
- Even though the camera is 12mp now I dont see that much difference in quality compared to the 6.
- Thought reception would be better since it supports T-Mobile Band 12 (Available in my area) but dont see any difference.

.
- you're not alone about Touch ID. I've heard that a few times. I personally love it (not trying to be a jerk but I do!)
- I wouldn't say the sound quality (in presuming you're referring to speaker) is less but it is quieter. I sometimes play music in the shower on the speaker and that will be less than ideal (it already wasn't that ideal lol)
- try not to think about Live Photos. Unless you're low on space I'd recommend keeping them on. I bet you'll be surprised. I got a great shot of my son looking back over his car seat and it's just the perfect live photo. I wasn't even thinking about it. 9/10 other Live Photos aren't anything worth bragging about though.
- vibration is quiet. But I actually feel it better. I often missed precious device vibrations. Not sure why that is. It's definitely not as loud though.
- I agree about the camera. I don't see a difference. But I also haven't taken a whole ton of pics. Maybe we can blow them up more before losing image quality? Camera was good enough for me on the 6 plus though so I wasn't looking for better.
- the band 12 reception is what I'm bumming about. I THINK Boston is lit up but I don't notice a difference at all. I'm still trying to figure that one out.

I have 6+ and play with 6s+ at apple store. it is NOT night and day. in fact, A9 is only 30% faster than A8 on paper. In reality, it is much less. 2GB of RAM only matters when you are power user with 10+ browser tabs. iphone is not like desktop where you can open multiple apps at the same time and need alot of RAM. 6s is an evolution, like very year release, and it is NOT revolution, like you describe.

if you compare with iphone 3G, 6s might be night and day.
You didn't need anything close to 10 browser tabs to force a refresh on a 6.

Returning it for what? There's nothing better out there. No note 5, not even the S6 edge plus.

I'm going to return mine. It was an impulse buy, and the money back will be useful right now anyway.

The 6S Plus has an annoying problem where seemingly every model has this pressure point near the bottom on the left side, and to me it's very distracting even when I'm not looking at it, because every setting page and website is white, and it shows to me especially in lower brightness settings. Spec and performance wise it's a really nice device, but I want to wait until November or December and see if some of these problems are hammered out.

Same thing here. I have a Note 5 currently and bought an iPad at Staples last week since they were $150 off. Having that and a MacBook Pro really made me miss how all the Apple devices work so well together, especially being able to text from any device you have. I bought a 6S+ yesterday but had major buyer's remorse all night. Total impulse buy like you. Ended up returning it today. And funny you mention that pressure point. Have you really seen it on a lot of them? I noticed that too on mine. Very annoying. I hate ANY sort of issues with displays like dust or dead pixels or this spot. Does the 6S have this too? While I was returning the 6S+ I was playing with a display 6S (didn't really look closely at the screen) but I actually really liked the smaller size after having a big phone all this time. I think when money isn't such an issue I might pick up the 6S instead of 6S+.

It's not an issue on the regular 6S apparently, only the Plus. It pisses me off though, I don't want the regular model, I want the Plus. I actually wrote an email to Tim Cook expressing my disappointment and told him the story of my Air 2(s) and why I'm returning my 6S Plus.

I know its still early but is anyone thinking of returning it? Me personally I'm going to give it a few more days and make my decision. I like it but im not totally sold.
I am totally sold. It is superior to 4/4s/5/5s/6 in every way. It is faster, zippy, touch sensor is instant. Flashlight "seems" brighter. Stronger materials and has more ram. Usually when an S comes out I get it just to have it but this one I am actually 100% happy with the upgrade.

100% happy with the upgrade and 1st plus model phone. Definitely not returning it :)

Returned my 6s and kept the 6s+. Battery life was a big decider.

This is something so overlooked by so many. I went a whole entire day today and mind you I was using my phone quite freely for a number of different tasks. Just got home and I'm at 41% since taking it off the charger at about 12 noon. To me that's a huge deciding factor, a reg 6s would have died hours ago with my usage.

Exactly, did not want to go back to worrying my battery life was about to die.

Wife and I upgraded from the 16gb 5 to the 64 gb 6S and there is no going back! Almost got the 6s + though. Glad I didn't. Size of the 6S is already a huge adjustment!
Should have gone for the 6s+ and at least given it a try..... I've become so accustomed to the size that I actually wish it was a bit bigger. Holding my wife's 6s it's even too small. I know it's a shock coming from the 5 but you'll see how fast you get used to it.... and possibly wishing it was a 6s+.

I may return my Rose colored Phone 6s Plus.

I'm a 40 year old guy who works in an office and I ordered via Apple online.

I saw the phone, I took it home, and I like it.

But I think I will get the Gold.

I love apple's return policy.

Such easiness.

i dont know if i can swallow $933 AUP after 2 years for my 6s 64gb.... lot of money for a phone. im considering it

Phones are one of the biggest rip offs in products at this very moment.

Do you remember your Nokia phone? Remember how it's like $600 US Dollars for an unlocked or empty phone without a contract? Nokia without color, without much internet??

Now look at phones today. With that money, you can buy a laptop (top of the line, no less), a TV, etc.

But for a phone with internet access and pretty much a video game machine, it's all it does. nevermind the apps for exercise, nevermind the PDA functions, nevermind the ability to pay for things, and nevermind the MP3 function to play music (and videos, oh wow....meh). It's pretty much a mobile phone that surfs the internet and lets you play video games.

I wouldn't worry about buying this if you've got a working phone (with internet and plays video games and music).

I get new phones every year because I'm good with my salary. But I look at 20 somethings with new phones every year and I laugh. I actually looked at the auctions and my son bought 6 Apple 5s and three Apple 6 Plus phones for very cheap. He goes to high school and put up a few flyers to buy those phones in cash. Then he flips it somehow. I should ask him.

Dont get me wrong I like the phone. The speed is definitely an improvement but here is why im not completely sold yet

But I do like phone I love 3D touch, cant wait for more apps to start using it. Love the speed and improved RAM (no more refreshing). Most likely I'll keep it but those are just my concerns.

Band 4 is what you want. And your speeds should be very good since the s supports 700mhz LTE.

Biggest thing is the memory, your apps will stop crashing and you can have more open without the phone slowing down.

1st world problems...

I get a new phone each year because it's free. I'll agree with your first part. Phones are one of the biggest ripoffs and cause too many (even those who think they can afford it) financial problems. If I had to pay full price each year? LOL Nope...no way. Not even with my salary.

I got 9 iPhones 6 for my family and the company I work for. Out of 9 one had a defect with a SIM card slot.

There no T-mo LTE 12 in Boston yet. For now you can just use J.L.'s coverage map of the "future" :). It is coming soon, they covered NYC in 1-2 months, they upgraded 30-40 sites per week. T-mo launched so far 3 LTE12 sites in MA, I think just not to loose license here. You can look at more or less accurate map here

http://ae2.spectrumgateway.com/t-mobile-700-mhz-spectrum.html

I keep my iPhones since I got them with Att 450 dollars subsidy upgrade and Att already unlocked my phones, but for the full price I return them. I'm sure that next year Att stops this subsidy program or you can loose your UDP.

I had been looking at that page and simply didn't know how updated it was. That green ring implies that here is a tv channel waiting to jump over, but I read in Reddit this had already happened at the beginning of the summer.

I am really rather hopeful what you're saying is correct and they haven't launched it yet. I still get some dead spots (although it's many times better than it was around this time two years ago for my first test run, which is ultimately why we switched from ATT)

So in other words you have not read a single review before you bought the phone. Everything you mentioned was common knowlege for weeks.
maybe because there were no real reviews out when preorders started obviously how could I? Smh

The phone's great, I just got a dodgy display so I'm exchanging it for a new one.

Other than that it's a huge upgrade over my 4.
