Yes. I gave my boyfriend my 6+ and went for a 6. I loved the plus but I think in the end I'd rather just use a 6 as a phone and keep an iPad for surfing and games at home.

Interesting, I have the 6 and have been debating for the 6+ actually, but this past weekend, my wife rented a iPad 4 from the library, and after playing with it, I'm keeping the 6. I thought I would want the mini or a ipad, but having both seemed like a waste, but that is why I said interesting because they both do the same, but only 1 makes calls. I did enjoy the ipad tho. The ipad would be good if like I had like a regular flip phone or if I was using my blackberry as my main driver. Anyways, your post is cool. I was just speaking for my experience.

I do agree. I struggle with this all the time haha. The iPhone and the iPad to me are essentially the exact same thing, so to me it feels so redundant.

I think for me I just prefer having a bigger screen while at home. The iPhone 6+ is bigger yes but still does not match the iPad for me. Who knows give me a few weeks and I may change my mind. I really would love just an all in one device. :) I just have not found one.

Had the 6 in Space Grey 64GB for 6 months and just got the 6 Plus 64GB in Silver just because!

I am really loving this battery life but still adjusting to this massive screen. We are only on day two though so I need to give myself some time.

The LG g3 5.5 screen is how I wish the Plus did there screen, that's how it should be on bigger phones.

That point is only valid if someone holds their phone on the top and the bottom. Most people hold their phone on the sides, the width of the G3 and the 6+ is almost the same, the side bezels on both phones are thin enough that screen size dictates the width. Holding an iPhone 6+ at the width should feel no different than a G3 in terms of the grip.

I have had a 6+ since I bought it in late September, and just this week sold it and bought a 6. I loved it for the first three months or so, but but since about January I have secretly hated it more and more. I finally gave in and sold it on Swappa and my 6 should be getting here by Thursday.

I've been using my old 5 and the ease of texting with one hand again made me giggle with sheer joy!

I thought with more time I'd get used to the size of the Plus but I realized that the bigness of it was more of a novelty than anything, and the advantages of having a gigantic phone were withering away every day I owned it.

Plus I was sick of people I know commenting on my huge phone every time I got it out to use it. It was a spectacle and I am so excited that that's over!

I guess what I should have said is that I like how the screen on the LG G3 is edge to edge therefore making all 5.5 inch screens like that.

I bought the 6+ because I didn't want to wait for supplies to catch up to demand. When I walked into the store, I wanted to walk out with a new phone... not an order which might show up in a week. All AT&T stores just had the 6+. In the beginning I went through cycles: OMG this is huge, how baby-toy-cute is that 5, how am I going to hold onto this monstrosity (6+), how archaic is this brick with square corners (5).

Now after owning the 6+ for a number of months, there's really no way I'd want to go down to a 6, and def no way I'd want to go down to a 5. I've found I just modified the way I hold it for certain functions. I don't text a ton, and when I do 2 hands are used. When I surf on the train, bus, plane, etc., I've found that I have no problems with one hand operation, as like I said, I just hold it differently. I have thick hands, but short fingers (compared to peers). If you can envision the way a crane operator moves over a shipping container dock, that's sorta how I hold it. Thumb on bottom, two fingers up top (middle and ring), with the index finger moving around to select. Index moves up and back for viewing. Somehow I've made this work in the most awkward situations (answering phone while riding bike as one example).

Interesting thing is that now with the 6+ I barely use my iPad (3rd gen) at all. Suprisingly, I also barely use my relatively new MacBook Air. The 6+ portability, but bigger size just seem to render all other portable network capable devices as unnecessary. Certain websites I cringed when surfing them mobile, and would wait until I had the MBA to use them (e.g. job sites), but with the 6+ I only have to wait when I'm needing to attach documents (e.g. resumes).

Ditto exactly - 64Gb SG 6 to silver 6+ after six months. Loving it. The 6 is already a big phone so I tended not to have it in my front pocket, etc. anyway so I don't notice too much of a difference in handling. But I do notice the image stabilization, portrait modes, legibility improvements with slightly larger text, etc. If I wanted easy to pocket and carry as a priority I'd probably go back to a 5S, not a 6.

Ive had a 6 since launch, scored a 6 plus around novemenber for $400, used it for a week, loved the battery, hated the size so i sold it. i thought i would give it a try again so i bought one last friday and sold my 6. Loved it for 3 days and now im just hating the size, so i picked up a 6 again and will be returning the plus. oh well

Just got an iPhone 6 that's replacing my 6 Plus. I originally went with the 6 Plus because of the larger screen and amazing battery life and did not mind the size. After 2 months with it, however, I began to notice more and more that it was difficult for me to carry around and it was very noticeable in my jeans pocket, so I went down to the 6 instead. For all of the benefits of the 6 Plus, the size was simply too large for me, especially since I have an iPad I can use if I need the bigger screen.

Got the 6+ and only lasted 1 week, went to 6 and my wife got 6+, as time went on I used her phone around the house more and more, finally gave in and got the 6+ again. Not going back to 6... just have to get used to carrying 6+ differently.

Update: got my 6 yesterday and it's the perfect phone. The battery life isn't near what my 6+ was but the tradeoff was worth it.

I also feel this particular phone is flawless compared to my 6+- no crashing, no bugginess, fast fast fast. Maybe that's just the software update but it just feels like a dream in my hand.

Since I'd been using my old iPhone 5 for the last five days, the size felt like an upgrade and actually talking on it is so comfortable. The 5 is too small to talk on and the 6+ felt like a clown phone it was so big and wonky when I made calls on it.

Anyway, I'm so glad I switched and now I get to make fun of my boyfriend and his gigantic and completely ridiculous looking 6+!
