What is this? How is it supposed to be used?

Damn, the screen skin looks superb. Now I want one, but I already pre-ordered a body skin only. Haven't received any shipping e-mail yet, so hopefully I can modify or cancel the order.

Good idea. Where'd you get those plugs? Might be cool to have a set on hand.

Did a quick search on Amazon and found these...

Here are some cheaper options. Take note many of the sellers ship from China.

Wow... That is the best fit of any so far. I ordered mine on Saturday.... Hopefully. I get ton this week?

Damn they must be really backed up. I ordered mine on Sunday was hoping I'd get some kind of shiping notice but nothing yet. I chose the free shipping option so it's expected just a little antsy after seeing that front shield looks awesome. :D

It is a beautifully edge to edge screen protector with a closed home button cutout.

Thanks AlphaDogg for that recon work! Let us know how your install goes...

Took advantage of their sale and bought both the case-optimized and regular protectors just in case. BSE coming through! THIS is what waiting for the product and ensuring proper fitment is... *cough Power Support cough*. One weekend to design and ship the right product is impressive.

I wonder how many dry protector companies are going to go wet moving forward...

I ordered from BSE last week too, and took me forever guessing which one to get. I went for the full coverage, -gloss I think. I used to always get matte for the screen, but this time I was shopping for cheap quickie protection for the back til I get a case. I haven't used screen protectors for a while on ipad or iphone.
I always used PS before, but looks like they kinda messed up so far this go round, their air cases are usually my go to,.,.

I've only ever ordered twice from BSE but I think the gloss-front, matte-body is the best combination, resulting in a look that's as close to the original phone as possible...

Just ordered this combo too, along with the iloome glass protector. We'll see what works/covers the front better.

and BSE Always has a sale at the right time and I like supporting co.s that don't price gouge.... like others we know and sometimes love.

Damn does BSE let you go to their office in Westminster? wonder if I can go and purchase my skin their and if they'll install it for me.

Thanks for the photos! Glad there is finally something that offers full screen protection..but now that means I have to go back to wet install. After using tempered glass, I'll have to get used to the tacky feeling again.

Ya that is a very good solution, link to these? Regardless have to be SUPER safe. I don't trust myself and would rather have a professional do it. Give me that piece of mind.

For some reason Amazon links are redirecting to the home page. Just search iPhone dust plugs or dust caps on either Amazon or eBay.

That installed protector is perfect!
I'm happy I went with BSE after seeing just the back protector.
I ordered 2 sets of glossy front and back just in case I have any issues.
I've done wet installs in the past, on ipads, macbook, etc, so this shouldn't be an issue. Wet installs are forgiving, allowing you to adjust accordingly.

Does anyone know if I can use a case (I.e. Speck Candyshell) with the case-optimized front and the back protector, or will it be too tight/thick? I emailed customer service a couple days ago and never heard back.

While the front should pose no problem at all if the back is the same as the pictures posted above you may run into an issue. It will probably be a tight fit and if its too tight the cutouts at the bottom may not be centered anymore. Taking the case off could also damage the back skin if it catches on the case as its removed.

Kind of a catch-22 if you are the type of person who likes to alternate between a case and going naked. The 4 through 5S were perfect for this as long as those side skins weren't put around the antenna band.

The back skin makes it too tight of a fit in the apple leather case. A speck candyshell will doubtfully fit

did you get the case optimized front by any chance? I'm trying to figure out if i need it for my apple leather case.

I used to always put a back skin on all my devices but found it too hit and miss and frustrating when wanting to use cases. The cases would peel certain parts up and it'd get gummy and dark on the edges. I just go for the front now, unless we're talking about the iPhone 5 which came chipped out the boxes (think Apple learned their lesson) the backs shouldn't scratch as long as they're in a well made case.

i've got the GRFXP Colorlays on mine, just ordered it in clear... fits flawless and at least I don't have to worry about the back getting scratched... cheap too. grfxp.com

don't have a pic of mine, but here are some other colors, (pics from their website)....

Best Skins Ever - Once again, I've skinned every iPhone since inception and tested so many brands. Was always my fave and it seems they did a great job again. Wish I knew which phone size I was keeping!

I ordered mine on the 13th, I knew that with the curved glass only wet application can do the job. I got glossy for the screen and matte for the back. I've used BSE skins for a while now and the fit is always perfect. I pack all open holes on the phone with little pieces of paper towel to absorb excess water when I apply the skins, never had a problem doing this. I have installed 8 skins so far for family and friends, always had great results. Just take your time installing!

I have one of these coming to the UK. I went with gloss front and matte back as I think this will be the closest feel to having the phone naked.

Just hoping it's not too hard to install as it seems to have small intricate flaps/tabs. I agree with everyone though that it looks great in the pictures.
