Someone who has the front protector on their phone, can you let me know what the material is like?

Is the front the same as the back/side material where it's a bit squishy and malleable where you can mark it with your fingernail (but it goes away after a while).

I've always loved the back/sides of BSE but I worry that material will be too grippy for a front.

Still not shipped out ordered over the weekend....:(

Just checked my order status, still processing. Ordered Monday.
My iPhone 6 Plus just came in, I'm too excited to wait for it. Will buy a temporary Power Support protector at Apple when I go to pick up my Blue leather case.

Those edges will peel up and get furry with lint.

This happened on my iPad Air. I have to give credit to BSE. When I sent them pics showing the lifted edges, they immediately offered to mail a new skin at no charge. I only installed the back skin on my iPad Air.

I am probably going to order this anyways. I like the look and the skins they offer are very good quality.

Where do you check order status?

I ordered mine glossy case optimized and back cover on the 17th but my order is still showing "Processing" :|

just attempted my install. I've used them for several devices and never had an issue. this time I couldn't for the life of me get the corners to adhere, and the rest of the skin around the edges didn't want to stay put either without a lot of effort. i ended up getting most of it on but not all. put it in my spigen neo hybrid to see if the pressure of the case would at least get it to stay put most of the way. i'll have to contact them about it. never had this issue before and i must have used them for a dozen devices.

Were you using the screen protector and a back protector? Did you get the case optimized one? I'm trying to figure out what to order because I plan to use a case but worry that it will be too thick with both a back and front protector on.

yes I ordered both - full body bse. matte for both as well. not the case optimized seems to fit fine in the spigen neo hybrid.

This thread is lacking pictures lol. If anyone can, please post pictures of the matte screen protector with the screen on? I would like to see how much the matte one reduces color clarity compared to the glossy one. Thanks.

correction - unfortunately it doesn't look like I can get my case over the phone anymore.

That's odd..I had a full body BSE on my iPhone 5 and I was still able to use my Spigen Neo Hybrid over it.

Curious to see how well just the screen skin will work with an Apple leather case.

...how do the front protestors feel? Do you get that 'Orange Peel' effect?!

I've used a 'wet install' on an iPhone 4 (back in the day) but found that no matter how good the install went, due to the rubbery and sticky nature of the shield, it would just attract lint, all around the edge of the protector.

I want to know what the feel of the BSE front screen feels like - is it kind alike a rubber feel (so you're finger kinda drags on the screen and does not feel glossy)?

EDIT - Their website shows these available for only $5.84 (thats only about £3.50 here in the UK!!) - sounds overly cheap?!

Also, I am planning to use the Apple official case on my iPhone 6 - do I order a standard fitting BSE front shield or the 'Case Optimized' one?!

...might just have to pull the trigger on this one and order one - it looks blimmin awsome on those pics on the 1st or 2nd page - and seeing that they are currently offering a 35% discount on them (due to the backorders), seems like a good deal!

They also offer a matte option which I presume would have a smooth feeling as opposed to the rubbery feel.

I'm in the UK also and have a gloss front skin and a matte rear skink on their way. I'm mainly interested in the rear skin. I'm thinking the protection round the sides may be a little too much for my needs, so I'm thinking of contacting them to see if they can make me the rear skin but without the side protection.

...did you order the 'case optimized skin' or a normal one? I also have Apple's official leather case so unsure if I need the 'case optimized skin' for my iPhone 6 or just their normal skin?!

I ordered the normal one but I don't plan on using a case.

I imagine the case optimised one would be your best bet with the apple case though. I would maybe suggest contacting them and see what they suggest? I find that their customer service is very good and should be able to give you an answer.

yeah, it's way too tight to get the plastic bumper part over the tpu now. it'll break if i do i think.

my understanding is the case optimized version really only makes the screen portion slightly smaller to fit cases that have a lip that might cover the edges of the screen. and i think they even mentioned that with the curved screen of the 6, the case optimized is kind of pointless. i don't think the back is any different. as i mentioned above, my spigen is now tighter and i don't think i can use it. i think the apple case is extremely tight and i would guess it won't work with the bse. i would email them and double check though about the case optimized version. the price is cheap because they always do this when a new iphone is released, and bse doesn't spend the money on marketing and packaging like some companies so they are always cheaper. but it's the same great product if not better. they're one of the best. but as i also mentioned, this time mine didn't adhere properly. i don't know if it's beacause i got the matte or not. i emailed them and i'm waiting to hear back.

If you look at the iPhone leather case, it appears to cover little of the curved part of the screen. I have had case optimized from BSE but felt that often, the normal one works. I will receive them in a few days and will let you all know if the BSE works with the apple leather case.

Thanks for this topic I ordered 2 matte back case optimized, 1 glossy case optimized front and 1 matte case optimized front. They look pretty nice and I love how they curve around the edges. Not sure if I'll use them right away but its a great deal for these products. Now if only my 6+ would ship!
