Then it sounds like you had a tainted install source originally. Are you able to sign out of the Store and then sign back in?

Yeah it must have been the email address of whoever I downloaded the torrent from. I managed to sort it now by following the frumpsnakes instructions on a mac running already running the final gm of mavericks. It then let me download it from the purchases tab on my mac! thanks everyone

Ok I have upgraded all 3 of my macs from GM1 to Public, no dramas.

On one computer I ran it from the hard drive after making a bootable flash drive for the other two computers.

I'm also on GM1, do I need to update to the latest build to get all the mavericks updates, if not I won't update, until now, zero bugs for me

Works but I still see 'Download' on the MAS.

Hi,

Used the trick outlines above and installed 10.9 but when I visit the MAS, I still get a Download button when I visit the Maverick page.

I must admit that I used my works development account to download the GM and now am using my own Apple ID to download the public OS. Could that be the issue?

my only problem with GM is that with hibernate mode 0 mac still takes 15s to sleep
