Also forgot, a value Chart based off of today’s activities (Updated using automation, so almost every hour besides around lunch since using sunrise and sunset).

For example, the bottom will show at what hour and how much I did at that time, and it will get updated throughout the day or manually. I walked total 3,386 so far today.

I have a personal automation that runs on the watch based on starting Sleep. I switch to a "Sleep" watch face that is mostly light red with a digital clock and almost no complications. Since I don't always use an alarm, the alarm complication is there along with the current battery level. Very simple but useful.

Sleep automatically disables normal face and activates the simple face.

Yes but I do wake up and get up sometimes at night. Under the simple face is a normal watch face once you scroll the crown. Once you stop using the watch, it goes back to the sleep behavior.

I created some automations and i have some questions about:

1. I have one to switch Watch face when I’m out from home. A notification asks to execute or not. Is there any way to skip execute confirmation?

2. I have another one to start watch music player when I start a workout. It seems that is not detected when I start workout from watch because it doesn’t work. I have to start workout from iPhone? Anyone workin this kind of automation (execute something when start workout from watch)?

Thanks!

1. when you click on the specific automation on your iphone, this should allow you to edit the automation. At the bottom, you should be able to toggle 'ask before running' to turn on/off.

2. I am having issues with this as well. Seems automation functionality only stems from the phone and does not extend to watch, though you can create a shortcut for the watch (and add it to list of apps on watch) that may help in this capacity.

Thanks for the reply too:
1. I don’t see any options in this automation but yes in another kind of automation. I think that there are some that asks you but others not.
2. I will check again because i only checked once and if it doesn’t work, i will try creating a shortcut for the watch and starting it with workout automation. Now, when i start a workout, the action is an script action, not shortcut executing.

It’s on the automation tab, rather the action:

It’s the bottom toggle on that screen. This works reliably for me with my Watch.

I have automation set to put Watch in theatre mode and then to turn it off. Only one works it turns it off but never turns the mode on. It seems like automation are broken.

The difference between your “when” trigger and mine is that main “when” trigger is arraiving or going out from my home location. Try creating a new automation with “when arrive to location” and check if that option appears. Thank you for your response.

I use a shortcut to turn on and off my AoD, which I mainly use when on the go and when working out, and turn off when Im home. I had to make two shortcuts (one for on and one for off) but when I say "Display On" to Siri it turns it on and "Display Off" it turns it off.

I use a shortcut called “Clear Lists” it clears out completed reminders from my main 3 lists, Reminders, Saved for Later, and Shopping.

Apple Watch doesn’t let you delete reminders, so this also works as a workaround for me to delete reminders I made on rhe

Can’t most of the shortcuts listed in the OP be done just as easy using Siri, or am I missing something?

I use a shortcut called “Black Box”, it auto records sound for 10 minutes and sends it to my iCloud Drive shared folder with family and friends, then sends it to them via iMessage, just in case I get jumped at a consulate and get dismembered. You can’t do that automatically with Siri, however I’m not sure if this shortcut works with Apple Watch, but it’s on there just in case.

Do you have a link to the “Clear Lists” shortcut for the watch? That one I would use.

Couldn’t you just use this setting?

A super simple Shortcut I use now is to open the BBC News page - the Watch has a pretty complete web browser capability, there just isn’t an app for it.

Hello, thank you for you comment.
No, I know this option but i want to play music that i was listening previously, no an specific play list.
I get the automation working now, the problem was that i put a conditional afyer the trigger. My porpouse is to play music that i have downloaded on watch, not music from iphone, so i putted device info conditional to check if the device is an apple watch. This doesn’t work. Now i created an automation only to play music when workout starts and it works starting workout from watch, but music is played on iPhone.
I don’t know how to avoid iPhone music and start playing music from watch, continue playing what i’m listening on watch.
Someone can get this?

By the way, I think you can make basic HomeKit shortcuts, like unlocking/locking your entryway door.

Then add that shortcut as a watch face complication to unlock your door.

Granted, you can use Siri, but that’s going to annoy your neighbors if you share a common hallway

EDIT: omg it works.
