I've tried many cases but always dissatisfied with all of them, ended up go back to Apple leather case for my 6.
Only problem the leather case has, it started to stain other color on it after few months of use(except color black one)

You might think of trying the leather cases from Levenger. I'd guess theirs will be a better quality of leather, plus, because of their customer service policies, if their case begins to fade, you can probably get a free replacement.

Love sonix the one w the black flowers on the back- so far it's my latest favorite lol
I have another Apple leather in black and blue and now a brown one on the way-
I go overboard, but can sell later and I'll always have an iPhone so it's all good

I recently got a new iPhone 6S Plus and Apple saddle brown case. I really like the case, and I like the darker worn look that it's starting to develop. However, Apple just came out with a new storm gray leather case, and since gray is my favorite color, I ordered one as well. I probably wont start using it until if/when my saddle brown one wears out.

I have been considering the Apple Silicone Case in Midnight Blue for my iPhone 6s+ RoseGold... just because I feel the apple accessories are more minimalistic and should just own one for a change...

But one irk me is the bottom of the phone is so wide open. This is just a potential tradeoff for the very snug and tight fit on top [you can't really bend it that much]. Also the price... AUD59 for it seems way too higher than the Spigen Ultra Hybrid that I'm using now that provides all around protection with a nice black border and a clear back to showcase the phone [the ultimate deciding factor when i buy a case... is to obviously showcase that rose gold otherwise I'd settle for any other damn color]. This may change if I was working full time, but being a student my funds are partially limited... [the Spigen ultra hybrid was 14aud for me]... provided all around protection in all 4 sides and da clear back which ticks two things for me.

I also have the Saddle Brown case which has aged very well. It's now like a darker brown on the edges and some parts on the back. I actually bought the Storm Gray leather case as well a few days ago. It's a very handsome case, although I'm just not sure if it will age as well as the Saddle Brown. After a few days of use, a few of the edges are turning like a darker gray/black. It's kind of hard to tell though because the case already is kind of dark. The aging is prominent on the Saddle Brown, but I'm not sure how good you'll see it on the Storm Gray.

I was using the Apple silicon case when i first bought the iphone 6s plus, but it didnt offer enough protection.

Have switched to the UAG

I share your concerns about the unprotected bottom. Most likely going from IP6 to new plus device in October and I hope Apple will rethink their case design.

I've used the Product Red Silicone case for my 6S+ since I got it in January. Love the case and how easy it is to grip, but it is a lint magnet when I put it in my jeans (especially my back pocket). When I had my iPhone 6 I was using a wooden case, but it was a little chunky. With the 6s+ being big already, I'm not sure I'd want that case on a phone this size.

To all those who have the newer Storm Grey or Marine Blue cases.....

Please post pics of your cases after a couple weeks/months of use. I'm eager to see how their patina develops. The Saddle Brown case I have has done remarkably well in producing a sheen and patina.

I do not like this year's apple leather case because it's damn slippery. I am sticking with last year's leather case which has nice grip.

I have both the leather and the silicone ones for my 6 and I really enjoy them. The leather has a nice premium feel and the silicone adds a nice grip. Anyone else using the official Apple cases on their 6 or 6s ?
I just think that is too expensive. You could find a Spigen or a Supcase instead.

I loved the Apple silicone case I had for my iPhone 6 and its the only thing I will miss about the move to the SE. I would just love for Apple to bring out the silicone case for the SE.

The first case I got for my 6s was Caudabe Veil XT. It's just too slippery. Then I got a Magpul Field case (got 3 different colors). It's a pretty good case and nice grip. It adds bulk tho.
So I started to looking at Apple's silicone cases because I've read that they offer good grip and don't add much bulk to the phone. They're pretty expensive tho. Any color recommendations for black iPhone? I've currently looked at white and royal blue.

I have the charcoal silicone for my 6S Plus and at times I find it hard to get in and out of my pockets, I also have an otterbox commuter, mophie juice pack and a pasonomi case I swap between

I always used leather cases but now that I got the 6s, I bought 2 leather cases and the midnight blue silicone. So far, I can't use the leather cause the buttons are too hard to press, it's slippery and dust gathers in the gap on the edges. On the other hand, the silicone one is indeed a lint magnet but from what I see so far, there is lint only on the case and it goes away easily if I blow a little and the screen and the edges are dust, lint, dirt, whatever you want, free. I also noticed that the silicone case is covered with that soft material on the inside everywhere while the leather case has that soft fabric only on the back leaving the edges without and dust come through the edges of the phone and ends up on the back of the phone on the inside. Bottom line, for me, the silicone one is better especially because it keeps the screen and the edges dust free.

I've used one in the past, charcoal gray. All I can say is its quite grippy and feels good in the hand, though I wouldn't trust this case from protecting the phone from high drops and I was hoping Apple din't left the bottom open. Now I'm using Apple's Smart Battery Case - charcoal grey.

Wonder if/when Apple will come out with a smart battery case for the Plus models?
