Wonder if/when Apple will come out with a smart battery case for the Plus models?

I doubt Apple will release a smart battery case for the plus models. The 6 Plus and 6s Plus have larger batteries than the 6 and 6s. Until Apple releases a case for the said models, we only have third party battery cases for the moment...

I have the midnight blue leather as well, love the color, and it matches my fav AW band, the Midnight Blue SB!

Nice choice. I had the same combo for my Space Gray iPhone 6S and Space Gray AW Sport. I just got a Space Gray iPad Pro 9.7 and got the silicone Midnight Blue case and Smart Cover as well.

Have to say, I was disappointed with the leather version of the Apple iPhone 6S case. For me, it got very slippery after about a month of use -- so slippery I was thinking of replacing it for fear of dropping my phone. It was also accumulating a darker coloring around the edges (some call this Patina). Anyway, I switched to the Midnight Blue silicone case, and it's been great. Much grippier, fits great, feels great, and wipes clean with a damp rag. For me, the silicone was a better choice.

I like the silicone case just wish it was easier to get in and out of my front jean pockets

Agreed. I rarely wear jeans, but usually wear a suit, sportcoat, or blazer, and have the same problem... it's a bit difficult to insert my phone into the breast pocket of my jackets when the silicone case is on. On the whole, though, I think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, at least for me.

totally agree, the silicon case is by far my favorite cases out of the 20+ I've bought so far! It's just too sticky, wish they would make a hard snap on case.

I'm currently using a Switcheasy N+ in black because it's nearly as thin as the silicon but very easy to slip in and out of pants!

The apple battery case really improves grip, I'm trying to use some other cases but come back to it everything because the hump makes it so much easier to use the phone one handed. Also I really like how it redirects the speaker to the front.

Like the feel too, but I got a plus and waiting for Apple to release a battery case for it.

I'm thinking of ditching the silicon and trying the leather again and putting some leather cleaner/conditioner on it

That's exactly my combo! Though my iPhone is the 6S Plus, also rose gold. I also got the Smart Cover in that color for my iPad mini 4, though I did a mismatched back in the light pink so it would match a purse I have.

I've had a lot of cases for my 6S plus since I got it. I originally favored wallet and folio cases but once I tried the silicone case in the store I fell in love with the light weight and grippy feel of it. But goodness if you have pets, the fur clings like crazy. I am a vacuuming fiend but still have to wipe cat and dog hair off of the silicone cases at least once a day.

I really like the silicone case but I hate it at times with how grippy it is depending on what I'm wearing I almost can't put it in my pocket, so I'm giving the leather case a try now

I have the (RED) cover on my iPad mini, (RED) Case on my iPhone, and the (RED) wrist strap for my Apple watch, it all matches :)

I am with you @mbar9607 about the silicone case, it is really grippy and sticks in my pocket, super annoying.

I'm not sure if I want to return the silicone case since I'm still in my 30day window or keep it

I used to only use otterbox on my devices by over time I've lost the love for their cases and started looking around at other options but I always look at them and consider trying them but now that Apple has their own line I do love the look and feel of leather but love the look of the silicone case

I was using the Saddle Brown leather case but even though I really liked it, I thought it was too bulky. Ended up buying an iPhone Case from Bellroy. Very slim case - exactly what I was looking for.

How long have you had your Bellroy for?

I did the exact same thing and LOVED my Bellroy case. Sadly after 2 weeks one of the corners started to split. I sent it back, no questions asked and then I had my new one for about 3 weeks and both lower corners started to crack. I never dropped my phone and I never took the phone out of the case. The rubber sides simply started to split.

Let me know your experience, if it's better than mine I may give it another go.

I spend boat loads of money on OS X and iOS devices, but I refuse to be ripped off by spending money on Apple's Obscenely Overpriced Accessories.

Love my midnight blue leather case for my 6s. My co worker just got the storm grey for his silver 6s after he saw my case.

It has held up really well and the bottom opening doesn't bother me one bit.

I prefer to use the iPhone with no case at all, but the apple silicone and leather cases are quite nice and comfortable in the hand. Love the colours and feel of the silicone case, but like others have said, I have a tough time getting it into and out of most pocket pants. I think the leather cases are an excellent option as they add some nice grip but also slide in and out of a pocket quite effortlessly.
