Anyone waiting for the Nike +?

My order status changed to preparing for shipment Friday morning with delivery set for the 28th. As of Sunday morning this is still the status on Apples site, but out of curiosity I checked my UPS my choice account and I I have a tracking number with tracking information, it was shipped from china on Friday, and as of now is at the UPS hub in Louisville, looks like it will easily make it to my city (Vancouver) before Friday, I'm hoping for an early delivery, but have a feeling apple has ups hold final delivery till launch day(Friday).

Update: Just got an email from apple inviting me to schedule a personal setup appointment with appointment windows starting next Sunday.

I think we will really start seeing movement this week, payments will start getting pulled , tracking number will start going out. I would like to think Apple would get these delivered a little earlier than the 28th , but according to there page it says available on the 28th. Just my 2 cents
 
By the way, I went into my Apple Store last week to try one of these on in person to see which band color choice I liked (grey/volt was my favorite) and the Apple store employee said that they would be available to purchase in store on 10/28. He said that they expected to get them this coming week and that they would have them that day for people to come in to buy. Of course how many they may have is certainly up for debate. Just throwing that out there though.

Either way I got to stick with my BB order due to using my store credit.
 
I ordered mine ten days after pre-orders started and now shows "Preparing to Ship...". I checked UPS and tracked via reference number using my telephone number and it shows that it's in Louisville, KY. Yay!!! I'm hoping that it will slip through and deliver early. .

Looks like our watches were on tha same plane. :)

I also ordered from Best Buy on 9/11.
Date still shows by 11/10.

Wonder if they will change delivery dates next week?

Because they are a third party and the supply chain may not get to them until then. Could change. I am in the same boat. Ordered on preorder date.

Interesting. I did a search with my phone number and it's telling me the package is in Louiseville as well, even though I live in Canada.

I noticed the same thing when my iPhone 7 shipped. The Apple webpage showed preparing to ship yet UPS showed it not inky shipped but was inbound to the states. I didn't get a notification from Apple that it shipped until the day before arrival. I'm thinking they are now doing this as standard practice to stop calls to UPS.

For those who they status has been changed... have they noticed any charge in their banking account?

I'm in London right now and the Regent Street store will have them in stock on the 28th to sell over counter... Just letting you'll know.

Anyone buying a SG Nike+ with Black/Volt band want to exchange for a Grey/Volt band in UK, let me know. I'm buying the AS Nike+.

[doublepost=1477320277][/doublepost]My credit card was charged last week, but my UPS account shows no upcoming deliveries and my Apple account shows no movement from "Preparing for Shipment" At this rate, I would be disappointed in Apple if I can go pick up a watch on Friday before mine (which was ordered a minute after pre-ordering went live) arrives by mail

No change here, but I wouldn't expect one, usually takes 1-3 business days for new transactions to post to my account, so if the charge went through Friday when it looks like it shipped I won't see it till sometime today or tomorrow.

seriously i think this watch is going to be a disaster for Nike. is there a software update coming this week? the current app is not ready.

i just tried to use the Nike Watch app to track a run and it crashed my entire S2 watch within the first 5 minutes.

Every update seems to just get worse. I've been using Nike+ for 5 years and have never had problems like I've had for the past 2 months. I've rebooted, reinstalled, wiped my devices clean... everything. Its sort of like Westword... with every upgrade the technology degrades.
 
i'm on the same plane sitting in l'ville... i imagine they're going to hold until day prior, just like they do with iphone releases.
i was hoping they'd just let ship, since 28th wasn't really a "launch day" like with other items. oh well, at least will have for this weekend.

I agree Big , I assumed they'd just ship them once they were ready, like the other poster said, we'll have them to enjoy this weekend. And that sux about the Nike app crashing , hopefully Apple can swoop in and get things stable for the app to work right.
 
Just got an update email from Best Buy. They said they were just informed that the release date "moved up" and that the Nike + watch will be released on 10/28, which we already all knew by now. The good thing is that my date changed from receive by 11/11 to receive by 10/31. Yay!

It will be a "feature" of the Nike+ watch. The app will only work well with that version of the Apple watch. ;-)

Just checked and my order status also now shows "by 10/31"
