Thanks for the heads up.
Just checked and my order status also now shows "by 10/31"
I was actually just able to go onto my BB account and hit "make changes" to my watch order and changed the shipping speed to get the delivery date changed to "by 10/28". Didn't cost me any difference in price.

I was watching some YouTube vids on the Nike watch. There's a newer video that was posted , the gentleman was doing a vlog & going to the Apple Store to try on the Nike watch. He tries the watch on & the Apple sales person starts pulling out just the Nike bands in all the colors, he asked loud and clear " can I just purchase the band only " and the apple sales person says yes you can. Hmm . If u search Nike Apple Watch on YouTube it'll come up , has vlog in the title. Maybe someone else can give it a watch & see if you hear what I hear.

My CC was charged last Friday I have a delivery date of 10/28 but my order has been in "Preparing for Shipment" ever since. Anyone else seeing the same?

EDIT: NVM, Just checked My Choice and my watch is in Kentucky as well

You're the man!
Just did the same.

Will be all ready for my regular Saturday morning run!

Thanks

seriously i think this watch is going to be a disaster for Nike. is there a software update coming this week? the current app is not ready.

i just tried to use the Nike Watch app to track a run and it crashed my entire S2 watch within the first 5 minutes.

Every update seems to just get worse. I've been using Nike+ for 5 years and have never had problems like I've had for the past 2 months. I've rebooted, reinstalled, wiped my devices clean... everything. Its sort of like Westword... with every upgrade the technology degrades.

I've been using Nike+ for at least 5 years too. I understand the need to revamp their app, but NRC was just not ready when it came out. If you want users to spend effort on getting used to a new user experience, you need to offer them something in return. NRC just didn't have anything extra to offer. Not only that, it took out a few features. It's gotten better since though.

On my iPhone6, it's very stable. I just hope it works well on my Apple Watch when it arrives Friday. I bought the watch mainly for the running.

Has anyone found a case/bumper for the Series 2 yet? I know for a fact I will bang it and cry for many hours if I damage it. I will definitely get a screen protector, but want the edges protected too.

I just watched the video and I agree with you in the part when the girl says "yeap" but it seems to me it's the kind of affirmation an inexperienced seller says when she has no idea what to say.... so it's not believable to me at all.

That's true , everyone knows Apple sales reps are misinformed some of the time, it was just weird her pulling out all the bands not attached to any watches. Either way I'm pumped for this weekend to get my hands on the watch.

It's stable on my phone. Not stable on my watch.

It's also not reading from HealthKit anymore if I run with Workout alone but that's a whole other bug...

I tried on the Nike Watch at the Apple store the other day and you are right about their sales reps. She was not aware the Series 2 was thicker than the S0/S1. She said they did not change the physical size on the S2. I had to lay my S0 Watch down next to the Nike Watch to show her the difference.

She also told me they find out about the new products when they arrive at the store and she did not know if Apple was going to sell the Nike bands separately. I said there is a great website called Macrumors which has the details long before the products hit the Apple stores.

Maybe I can find one of the not so bright Apple sales reps to sale me just the bands & make away like a bandit lol :)

So the woven band i bought won't fit the NIKE Apple Watch S2 that I bought and am waiting patiently for?

Remember these sales reps don't spend hours on tech websites researching his stuff. Don't give them a hard time.

I grabbed a band too!!

And when in the hell are these things gonna ship? I'm tired of waiting. I want to go swimming. LMAO> I know I know, I do not need a watch to do this. It's just the principle of the damn thing.

I ordered two (wife and I) aluminum Series 2 a week ago from Apple, Apple says they will be delivered Nov 21. I now just ordered two Nike+ from Best Buy with delivery for Friday Oct 28. We'll see how it goes, it cost a little for the delivery on Friday, would have been free shipping with delivery on Monday.
