Anyone waiting for the Nike +?

I pre-ordered AWN+ black/cool gray sport band - 22.9. (first day in my country when it was possible). Expected delivery date says same as to all of you. Expected delivery end of October. Question is, did Apple charged your CC for money yet? Me not

There is no difference. "Only" Special sportsband and watchface.

Ordered day after launch. Used Apple gift cards, but they have not been charged yet.
 
I was planning on it but my impatience on waiting on my phone made me decide I didn't also want to wait for the new watch.
 
I wonder if Nike will come threw on 10/20. I went ahead and signed up for a Nike plus account & got a email that they would keep a watch out for me. Hmm

I'd say not earlier. I ordered on launch day, and was given the "ships late October" notice. My account still shows late October, so I'm guessing it'll be like the phone, "first-in, first served".
 
As I told in previous messages, I made the pre-order too for the nike version but between the waiting and the price I'm wondering if it's worth or I can manage with the first series by buying on shops like Fnac where if you're a member, you receive sometimes discounts so among it's now cheaper, the discount and a bit more accumulated I have, the price can be interesting. I know here're people very anxious for having the nike version but leaving this thought aside, what do you think about this idea?

If you don't need GPS and waterproof go with the Series 1. I just bought a Series 2 because of the GPS and I don't see any differences in performance with regular apps, notifications e etc...

I gotta have the Nike version , but I'm a Nike freak anyways lol. I've never had any series of Apple Watch & hadn't planned on getting one until they dropped the Nike version. I'll just wait patiently

I'm waiting patiently too. I'm not a NIKE freak but I have SS first gen. that's serving me well so I'm not in a hurry. Beside NIKE is the cheapest edition of this gen. so why not?

Yeap, Almost everyday I think a different thing. I'm not gonna practice any water sports and by seeing the complicated way to upload podcasts (it's the majority thing I'll hear), surely I took my iPhone with me, also the gps option is not care much to me, but on the other hand, I thought on these moments which you're running and it's raining and you don't have to worry about it because it's waterproof ... and things like some people commented before about having a device more useful regarding to the updates or apps I mean... and I thought that several € don't matter at all... or maybe so... who knows hahaha

Sounds like a series 1 would work for ya , they are water resistant, so rain wouldn't phase it. And I'm sure at some point you'll be able to purchase the Nike bands, if you like that look.. there it is , pull the trigger and order it now lol

As someone else has already said, Series 1 and 0 are fine in rain. I've gone for little dips in the lake with my Series 0 watch, and dunked it into a bucket of water while washing dishes, and it's perfectly fine. Many people, including Tim Cook, have said they shower with the Series 0 watch. The Series 2 watch is even more water resistant (technically, there is no such thing as water proof, just varying degrees of water resistant), but Series 0 and 1 were pretty water resistant to begin with.

That band is visually interesting - but it's super soft with with a lot of breathability and flexibility. It's worth the wait... let's keep waiting!!

I tried on a Nike band at the Apple Store this weekend... can.not.wait. #TakeMyMoneyNow

Oh, did I mention that you cannot buy the bands separately?

That's what I like to hear , I'm with ya , I've never been so ready to spend 400$ plus bucks on a watch lol
