Apple Watch Series 0 (in a case) and Nike+
I don't see any reason why they made the Nike+ box longer, it contains the exact same things as the Series 0 box.

I can shed some light on that. I have the same combination in 42mm. With mine, the Nike+ Watch is presented with the M/L strap, while my Series O was presented in a box inside a box with the S/M strap.
I pulled out my Sport Band's M/L section and found it to be shorter than the Nike+'s M/L section as well.
So not sure why they decided to do it differently in different countries, but it seems the Nike+ is presented differently with a longer (than Series O) M/L which is why the box is longer to accommodate that.
Because your Nike+ Watch decided to join the Run Club before you did.
Hahaha I've. Even a run club member since spring 2014 and have the other Nike watch that was made by tomtom
And the same price, and there's your answer!
You have an option to buy an extra Sport or Nylon band with the Nike+ to make it like a regular Series 2, but the reverse is not true.
Oh no. That is really Bad.And here I am at my local Genius Bar after my first pool swim. The Watch would not respond to touch after unlocking it from the swim mode. Resetting it with both buttons held down fixed it, till I tried it again. Now it wouldn't turn on anymore, and keeps rebooting on the charger.
So, refund and reorder, ETA 4 weeks...
It's a shame the watch cannot track elevation (at least through the NRC app itself).
Looks like I'll still use my phone to track runs.
Watch doesn't have a functioning barometer. Oddly it has one but Apple didn't enabled it.

Call Apple Direct.
Interesting you should mention that. I tweeted Phil Schiller and shortly after got a Tweet back from Apple Support. Dunno if they monitor that. Anyway, long story short, there's no quicker way to get a replacement, but worse, the most recent call tried to convince me while it's swim proof, there may be liquid damage which is not covered under warranty.
I'm just gonna get my refund and see about getting a Series 2, Nike+ or otherwise, later. Maybe if they had one as a walk-in.
Not covered? For real?

Apple said:Apple Watch Series 2 has a water resistance rating of 50 meters under ISO standard 22810:2010. This means that it may be used for shallow-water activities like swimming in a pool or ocean. It is also safe to wear it while showering or in a hot tub....

Damn, was gonna reserve the Space Grey Black/Volt variant when I got home, and have now noticed I can't get one through Apple until December now, do we think Nike Online will get stock of them sooner? Or is there anywhere else that has them in stock that I've failed to see?
Not sure where you are located but all Nike+ variants were available in Edinburgh today
