I have been unable to reserve a 7+ for in store pickup on my line due to already having a pre-order through Verizon. I have a secondary line that I could make a reservation with, but would Apple be able to switch the upgrade to my primary line after I am in store and cancel the Verizon pre-order? I don't want to affect the secondary line's upgrade, so I want to actually make the purchase on my primary line. I live about 200 miles from the nearest store and Apple Northbrook refused to sell me a 7+ on Monday because I had used the reservation website instead of doing an in-store pickup, so I don't want to take any chances.

made a reservation for the 7 to use while I wait for my Plus to deliver next month. I get there and asked if possibly there was a matte black Plus for Sprint. she said no, but was surprised a single matte black Plus for Verizon mysteriously appeared in stock. after finally finding it in the back, I was able to walk out with it without needing to activate it. this was just last Friday.

What exactly happens if you use the IUP link to reserve but need to use AT&T Next?
Do you just explain that at the store?

Don't want to drive 20 miles to be disappointed.

Try buying it through the Apple Store app. You can select the att next option. That's what I did and I'm picking it up tomorrow.

Reserved and picked up a Black 128 7+ today. It certainly seems like stock levels are stabilizing in all colors except Jet Black.

Reserved two Verizon 128GB 7+'s in Virginia Beach, VA yesterday. One Gold and one MB.

Paid outright (actually Barclay Card Interest Free, Outright in Apple's eyes) and walked out the store with them sealed in the box. We have T-Mobile, not Verizon.

Man so i should take my chances and pick up the one i reserved for Sprint but used for T-Mobile? I need to beat traffic to make it within the 30 min time though.

My local Apple Store has some each day, obviously color and storage size vary.

Getting there an hour before the store opens one usually can get a Plus.

Without reserving one?

Guy or gal is in front of the store an hour early, I reserved it then. I do not trust online reservations, I know some folks do it no problem but I know I would be one of the unlucky ones and would not get it when I showed up with my reservation.

This year just walking in showing up early has been great, never remember getting one being this easy especially for a Plus.

Okay because I went up there the other day, and the girl out front said they only had one day they had gotten Pluses and they went FAST. But today on the reservation site, all the stores here in DFW looked like they got Pluses, unfortunately none in Black 256. I'm going to keep a vigilant eye open tonight when the site refreshes. I have an interview at 10 when they open so I won't be able to go down and wait till they open :(

Has anybody found a way to preorder a Verizon version without an account for use on AT&T. I keep finding Verizon Matte Black to buy but cannot reserve it. I figure by the time I get to the store it would be gone so it does me no good. My wife has a work account through Verizon so I tried entering her credentials but since it is a direct pay account it does not work.

I was trying to find an option to open a new Verizon account but that doesn't seem to work. Figure I could reserve that way, get to the store and just pay retail.

I've just started to look at reserving a pickup at an Apple Store.
Obviously the availability of the 256GB 7 plus model is limited, but I will keep trying. (AT&T)
The 128GB is possible but I want to maximize the memory for videos photos etc.

How do you guys order with the Apple upgrade program ? I'd like to go with this model instead of the AT&T Next one.

I'm a current 6 plus 128 guy, phone is now unlocked and finished with the AT&T contract.

I was finally able to grab a Matte Black 7 plus Verizon model with 256. I am going to use it on AT&T. From my two days of searching I would say you are far more likely to find a Verizon version to use on AT&T than to find an AT&T one. I am not sure I noticed any AT&T 7+ around the Philadelphia market.

My local Apple had some, black matte is increasing more difficult to get.

They did not have many of the Plus, there were about 20 people on line before the store opened. If all of them want a Plus, that was not happening.

Friday night I ended up finding one available to pickup the next day. But it was in Austin, so I woke up at 7:30 AM and drove the 3 hours from Arlington to Austin just to get the model I wanted because for some reason this was the only store in the STATE, where we have 14 Apple Stores, that had the 256 GB Matte Black AT&T 7 Plus.

Hey no fair, I wanted that one :) (I'm here in Austin)

I pretty much check a few different times in the day, I'm sure in another week or so the supply will improve.
