Anyone with 7 choosing 8 over X?

Sold my 7 plus for 650 Euro and ordered the smaller 8 for 799 Euro. Next year perhaps a change to the X depending on the reviews coming later this year.

i would buy any other iphone than the x personally. i'd rather take the SE over the X if forced to choose at the same price.

Partially it is. But it does have some fairly interesting technology embedded that Apple claims is the future. So I think altogether, consumers are curious about this technology with Face ID and its potential.

Yeah I agree. I don't want to throw the baby out with the bath water but it just seemed a little rushed with some of the inelegant design features and functions. I'm sure next years versions will be much more refined along with offering a true upgrade on the Plus size iPhone. For now I will be happy with my 7S+ (aka 8+) and I look forward to upgrading next year to whatever Plus variant Apple offers.

If i not wrong i heard Tim Cook said he wants to release new iphones now every 2 years. I guess in 2018 there will be no new iphones and i think thats the right decision. We don't even use our phones properly and then time comes to sell it or buy new one. Waste of money and material of the earth

Source? Sorry, but there is no way that's happening. That would be a huge hit to Apple's revenue.

Upgrading from 7 to an 8 Plus this year.
I don't like the X's design with the notch and without Touch ID so I ordered an 8 Plus. I regereted not buying the 7 Plus last year some weeks after I got the 7 so now switching to a Plus feels like a huge step (pun intended)
