Just adding another data point:

Ordered my 15" 2.2ghz/500gb 7200 rpm drive/high res anti-glare system at about 10:30am on Thursday and a couple hours ago it went to "prepared for shipment"

Ships: 1-3 business days
Delivery: March 1st-March 7th

Mine shipped today(26 Feb) from China, according to the FedEx tracking site. At first it said the expected delivery date was 7 March, but now it's saying expected delivery is 3 March - hoorah!

I got the 15" i7, though all I changed was screen (hi-res)...

No info on weight yet....

To answer the OP's thread title.... Fedex doesn't list a ship weight when tracking my shipment.

Ordered mine about 11:30am ET on Thursday.

MBP 15.4/CTO
Ships: 1 - 3 business days
Delivers Feb 28 - Mar 4 by 2-3 Day Shipping

Hi Res screen, 2.2Ghz, 4GB ram

Current tracking:

Date/Time Location Description
2/28/2011 12:13:00 AM SHANGHAI, CN Left FedEx Ramp
2/27/2011 2:31:00 PM SHANGHAI, CN Pickup status

Tried looking for Fedex flights out of Shanghai on Flightaware but can find anything that lines up with my shipment.

Based on past experience next tracking point should Anchorage, AK about 9 hours after leaving Fedex ramp in China.

I ordered shortly after the Apple Store went back up on Thursday am. E-mail from Apple this am said "Delivers by Mar 01, 2011", however FedEx is now showing "Mar 2, 2011 by 10:30 AM".

Weight: 4.6 kg/10.1 lbs

Shipment Travel History:
Feb 28, 2011 4:51 AM In transit SHANGHAI CN
Feb 28, 2011 12:13 AM In transit SHANGHAI CN
Feb 26, 2011 10:16 PM Shipment information sent to FedEx
Feb 27, 2011 11:10 AM Picked up SHANGHAI CN

Since these ship from Shanghai, there is a lag as well with the shipping information. I pre-ordered the iPhone 4, and the iPad - both of which ship out of Shanghai as well. The show shipped, and then nothing until it arrived at the regional FedEx center. However, Apple has been right on with my shipping estimates, and if they say expected delivery on an exact date, it has been to me on that date.

Mine has been updated with the same information. Except delivery by 6pm on Wednesday. FedEx is horrible for service in Sask. Ordered a Data Doubler + 120GB SSD from OWC shipped via FedEx. 2pm it was at the local depot, then never went out for delivery. I have a feeling this will be the same issue.

Ordered mine on thursday evening (German time) :D
Here is what is says :

Shanghai, China 02/26/2011 11:30 P.M. Arrival Scan
02/26/2011 8:57 P.M. Origin Scan
China 02/26/2011 7:36 A.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS

What does all this even mean ? It has been like this for almost 2 days now... anyone got an idea when they actually put it on an airplane??

My BTO (see specs in my sig) was shipped this evening. Got the email at 11:33pm CST. Says it will get here on March 2nd by 10:30am. I paid for the faster shipping because I wanted to get it before spring break so I would have time to do my upgrades to it and switch over my data. Plus I'm sometimes impatient. It's like $20 for a $2200 computer.

My AirPrint printer comes tomorrow. Super excited about that too! I just wanted something that would be easy to print to from my iPhone or iPad. Mainly documents or web pages. I use my Canon Pro9000 mkII for the good stuff. Hope it prints decent but not bad for free and with AirPrint.

Spreadsheet With Everyone's Data

Feel free to add your information if you're not already listed and if you are, please add more information if you can. Please make new columns if you can provide the information. I didn't add everything that was available for everyone. One column that would be good is if the user chose expedited or standard. Enjoy!

Nice spreadsheet MonsterMac :)

Got my order process email through this morning - it started in China and it's currently in Germany awaiting departure :) Edited the spreadsheet to reflect my shipping date :)

It's on the move (UPS tracking)

Shanghai, China 28/02/2011 22:58 Export Scan
Koeln, Germany 28/02 15:27 Package data processed by brokerage Waiting for clearance
Shanghai, China 28/02 16:55 Departure Scan
Shanghai, China 28/02 14:09 Origin Scan
China 28/02/2011 0:38 Order Processed: Ready for UPS

Can someone explain why it shows the clearance in Germany bit while the parcel is still in China?
