Anyone's BTO shipped yet? What is the ship weight through the tracking #?

Is Apple usually quick with the turnaround time? I mean, I've got two different windows, 1-3 days to ship, then the potential 5 day shipping time, but is Apple usually on the high end of low end of that?
If my delivery window is March 3 - 9, should I expect it closer to the 3rd or the 9th? I'd assume with the new release, they're a little backlogged on orders, but I've never ordered anything from Apple before, so I don't know their reputation with shipping (and I may be getting a bit impatient)

Hi All im a new mac buyer! Ive been lurking here for a while and this update of the macbook pro made me finally make the jump.
My delivery date is set for this thursday of a BTO. It would have been great if they offer the options in store but the guys over on the 5th avenue store here in NYC told me they dont. So online it was which actually helped because i got a company discount on it
And hopefully you won't be as disappointed when the product does arrive!I haven't been this excited since the Windows Vista launch!

Mine has now left Shanghai on its way to Glasgow UK now, estimated delivery is Friday, by the end of the day. Hopefully it goes faster than that otherwise it could be stuck at my work all weekend as the mail room guys go home at 4 on a friday! That would be torture!

The machine's a replacement for a 2.4ghz 2009 C2D unibody that's had some serious problems, excited for a new machine. Pretty amazing that Apple is giving me a brand new computer, this is why Applecare rules.

I strongly believe you will get yours on March 2nd. I live in Florida and have a March 2nd delivery. Our FedEx shipment info looks very similar.
The Apple site lists 4 March, but FedEx lists 3 March... I'm sorely tempted to tape the release slip on the door starting tomorrow, just to be safe. After all, my Speck case was listed to be delivered 5 March and showed up today....
Don't clone. The new MBPs use a new build of 10.6.6 so it won't work when you put it in. You're going to have to use migration assistant.
