It's starting to look like Standard vs Expedited shipping doesn't make a heck of a lot of difference as far as delivery date goes.

Weird. My Apple estimate is March 7, but my FedEx estimate is March 4. Seems to be the opposite of what everyone else is seeing.

I'm on my phone so I can't do it myself but can someone please add a "Country shipped to" column, maybe a state column if you're in the US.

Thanks!

I've ordered from Apple using Expedited shipping twice and found out later that it would've made no difference. That extra fee is really just paying for peace of mind and the guarantee, especially true when the item is shipped over the weekend.

Feel free to add your information if you're not already listed and if you are, please add more information if you can. Please make new columns if you can provide the information. I didn't add everything that was available for everyone. One column that would be good is if the user chose expedited or standard. Enjoy!

Great idea, thanks. I added 'Country' too, as that is relevant when comparing shipping/arrival dates.

15" BTO with AG and SSD "in transit" as of 2/28/11 10:50 PM Shanghai. 9.9 lbs, with a estimated delivery of 3/2/11 by 10:30 AM (Maryland). I did the 2-3 shipping which Apple paid the cost because they bungled up the initial order.

What I find weird is that my account has been charged 1/10 the cost of what I expected to see? I'm playing dumb for now but expect that charge to fully hit. Anyone else see a weird charge (Visa to chkg acct)?

MBP 15.4/CTO
Custom configured
Ships: 1 - 3 business days
Delivers: Feb 28 - Mar 4

Shipped today with expected delivery Wednesday March 2nd before 10AM.

If that's the case, I'm very pleased with the speed of a custom computer order placed on a Thursday and delivered by the following Wednesday straight out of China.

Yes, same here. I believe the charge will be updated with the full price by the end of today or tomorrow. That's a hold on your card for security.

Can't see it arriving this week now, so hopefully it will come by next monday!

Bought it straight out on 25th (2pm) in UK and have a 10th-15th March delivery time... What is up with that?

My upgrades were hi-res glossy and 128gb SSD, nothing special. Also had the Barclays financing rejected without explanation (never missed a payment and had enough in bank) so a little odd start, but soo excited for when it arrives!

My free time until it arrives is just working out how I'll use that 128gbs effectively!

@Fedgolfer Did you get AppleCare? They typically change separate for AppleCare which in my case is a little less than 10% of the laptop. Maybe your laptop just hasn't hit yet.

 - Ordered Saturday 26th @ 1:49pm GMT - Marked as shipped today, and showing Estimated Delivery: 11 Mar. Same upgrades as yours plus the 8gb of Ram.

Hopefully your's will be here before mine !!!!!

Will update the Google spreadsheet when I get home - (work is blocking access)

Specs as below:

2.3GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7
8GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x4GB
128GB Solid State Drive
8x Double-Layer SuperDrive
MBP 15" HR Glossy WS Display

Superdrive will be swapped out for a 2nd SDD being liberated from my old MBP. Wonder how the battery will handle it ........

cheers,

seyre

Added my info. to the spreadsheet. I was hoping it would ship today, but looking at that, I doubt it.
