Anyone's BTO shipped yet? What is the ship weight through the tracking #?

long time reader, first post.

Ordered my new BTO 15" 2.2Ghz 500GB @7200rpm HR Matte on saturday, 8pm MST with expedited shipping. This will replace my well loved 2006 mbp that I'll hand off to my mom (it still runs great, but I'm looking forward to bump i expect to have with this update)

Yesterday I called apple to "check on my status" (even though I knew they wouldn't be able to give me any more info). After explaining that I'm a student, and I payed for the expedited shipping so that it would get here by the end of the week, the rep gave me a refund on my exp. shipping costs, but left the speed on there :) I love apple. Even though it's only $18, every penny counts, especially after buying this laptop.

Last night my order finally changed to ready to ship, and shipped around 6pm, shanghai time. It's still Left FedEx "origin facility" on fedex tracking, but I'm hoping it will get here by friday or saturday. I'm about to add this to the google spreadsheet.

Can't wait!

Just ordered my bto. Estimated time of arrival is March 4th-10th. I'm hoping for 4th needless to say. It'd be nice to have it over the weekend.
 
Mine is out for delivery today, 4 days ahead of apple's suggested time.

Im in Scotland so im not too hopefull of getting it this week.

It is in Germany now finally just need to see how long it gets stuck there for!
 
Mine was delivered this morning by 0800, unfortunately I had to work until 1530 EST. Grrrr.

I am home now, and she is purring like a kitten (in a good way). No odd noises, temps seem perfect. Already switched out the stock drive for the 128GB SDD I got off of Ebay.

I doth believe I am in love. :cool:

Now to get the blackbook ready for sale.

ETA: Just purchased the 8gb memory upgrade from Crucial.com :cool:

Oh dang! It says delivered now! I guess they had marked it as undelivered until he was done at the complex and then just dropped the undelivered ones at the office! Yeah!

Mine just changed to prepared for shipment as well. I ordered the same 15" MacBook pro 2.2/500gb 7200/ hi-res anti-glare model. Hopefully it gets here on Friday. I am so excited!!!
 
Seems as though the orders immediately prior to, during, and perhaps after the weekend are now listed as "prepared for shipment". Just a reminder, it's currently 9:15 AM in Shanghai, so hopefully they'll be shipped during their working day. Although, I've searched a lot of the plane tracking sites, and there aren't any upcoming flights to Memphis from PVG listed. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Im located in Boston, USA. How long is the flight from Shanghai to the next stop (I'm assuming ankorage, AK) thanks
 
I am not "preparted for shipment". What are the chances of being delivery by Saturday? I purchased the 2-3 shipping.

I think my MBP's just left Singapore. That's what next after it arrives at the airport, the next action must be to leave it right?
 
Paid for my 15" 2.2 quad, high res glossy, 500gb 7200rpm MBP yesterday in New Zealand, (2/03/11 at midday here in NZ).

However as i purchased this through a local retailer, it has to go through the national supplier - Renaissance.

They informed me that it might take 2 days longer than most other countries as it has to go through customs in Australia then customs in New Zealand.

They also told me that I wont be able to track it and wont know how close it is until its about 2 days away from New Zealand.

Anyone else in New Zealand in the same boat?

Guess ill have to wait.
 
Wow, so mine shipped out last night, and the estimated delivery was March 8th (says Fedex). Apple said March 7th. I had 2 updates today (In Transit) both in Shanghai, so I basically came to terms with the fact that I wouldn't get my new machine to set up this weekend.

So I check just now, and I see an update this evening that says my MBP is already in Memphis. Looks like I'll be getting my machine a lot earlier than I expected :D! I'm very impressed that Fedex has the machine in Memphis already, considering it left the warehouse in Shanghai only 24 hours ago. Fingers crossed!

I think our MBP are on the same flight. I ordered expedited shipping and have an estimate of 3/4 in Boston, MA. I have a feeling I may get it tomorrow though?
