For those who's macbooks went through Memphis: How long did it take to get from there to your home? Mine arrived this evening in Memphis and is headed to Minnesota... estimated ship date is the 4th (friday), but I would think it would make it from memphis to mpls tonight and ship tomorrow morning?

I think our MBP are on the same flight. I ordered expedited shipping and have an estimate of 3/4 in Boston, MA. I have a feeling I may get it tomorrow though?
Looks like I got lucky then. I'm in Missouri, so Memphis is only 4 hours away. Maybe I'll get mine tomorrow too.
On your Fedex status page, what kind of shipping does it show? Mine is "International Economy Distribution." I'm just wondering if the expedited shipping has a different kind of distribution.
Seems like we're all in the same shipment. Mine is actually estimated for the 8th, but I'm even closer to Memphis than you are. Here's to hoping!
Dang! Ours must be on the same flight as well. Got to memphis at the same time. My shipping (expedited) says "IP Direct Distribution"...

I wonder how Fedex makes these estimates. I am a 4 hour drive from Memphis, yet my estimate shows March 8th. Are they just pulling estimates out of a hat, or do they plan to take all weekend to drive 4 hours?
I would be frustrated if that happened to me. Maybe call FedEx and see what's up? Is it just going to sit in the FedEx warehouse for four days? What the heck...
I'm guessing that March 8th is just a VERY safe estimate, as many people (possibly within this same shipment) have estimates earlier than mine, even though they also did not buy expedited shipping. I'll give Fedex a call tomorrow if I don't see any updates, but if the MBP is in Memphis already, and it can get here overnight (which it probably will), I'm more than likely going to get it by Friday. The longer Fedex holds onto it, the longer they're essentially holding onto another liability. I see no reason they'd want to stall it out.
Ok so i have the exact same thing! i ll prob call them to see wats up! cause i cant wait any longer... apple is still predicting the delivery date as the 7th for me so thats kinda interesting.. but tomorrow or friday would be best!

My mbp is currently "out for delivery", and has been that for 4 hours now. The deliver is TNT. Currently I live at campus with entrence code, and I'm wondering if I need to be here when the computer arrives? Do Apple/TNT request a signature or do you think they will just leave the package at the security guards (where I usually pick up packages)?

Well my Fedex status says "indirect signature required" which means anyone at the address can sign for it. Also, when I ordered my MBA about a month ago, it got to the mailroom no problem. One of the employees signed for it, the mailroom sent me an email, and I went and picked it up.

I'm with you guys. Ordered on the 27th, left origin facility in Shanghai just a few minutes ago, ETA 3/8/2011. I guess that would make sense if it were being shipped to Anchorage (as I am in NC), but Memphis is 11 hours from my house.
I'm also having trouble finding the flight that our MBPs are on. Please post if you find anything. Also update/add to the spreadsheet if you haven't already:

YES! my 2-28 order just shipped! updated the spreadsheet too!

@Jehct mate I think Renaissance is having you on, that sounds like a bollocks excuse. I ordered some non-custom stuff from Apple online store that came from Sydney, it arrived one day later, it took all of 1 hour to clear customs.
My order:
15" BTO with anti-glare screen and SSD, delivering to Auckland New Zealand.
Ordered 26 February, prepared for shipment 1 March evening. Shipped at 3:04 AM 3 March (today).
China is only 11 hours flight away and stuff usually clears customs pretty quickly, so I'm hoping I have a package waiting for me at work tomorrow (March 4)
They're using TNT though, not FedEx, TNT takes 24hours+ to get the tracking number into their system, so no idea yet where it is
I've had international packages delivered to me before, with their bloody web tracking system not knowing about the package yet...

I just ordered my first macbook pro (low end 13) last saturday. I received an email that my order has been shipped on this monday. But since then, there has been no update on my order status and I also don't know the carrier.
Has that happenend to anyone here?
Final destination is switzerland and estimated delivery is end of next week....
I just really want to know where my order is now or if something went wrong.
