Anyone's BTO shipped yet? What is the ship weight through the tracking #?

My two Macbook Pros have finally arrived in Australia and are currently in transit from Sydney to Perth - unfortunately wont get them tomorrow because Monday is a public holiday in Western Australia.

Got that update this evening. Should be on or before 11th March shame I'm impatient. Ordered the glossy screen, but saw the antiglare in apple store today and didn't look too washed out and no reflections, almost tempted to cancel and redo my order just for the antiglare.

My early '08 17" has glossy, but after 3 years of it I'm fed up with the reflections and so I ordered the new one with the matte screen... just my tuppence. Will let you know what I think of it if you like, once it arrives. There's tons of threads here arguing for one over the other!

Very unlikely I'd say - they'll most likely bundle things going in the same general direction and stop off on the way! More efficient/cheaper from the couriers point of view, more annoying from ours

According to the UPS tracking page my MBP 13" i7 256SSD is now in Republic of Korea ???

Can you tell us what your original "Shipment Notification" email said for the "Carrier Name"? I guess it must've said UPS for you to be able to track?

Mine said "Kugne & Nagel Spedition s.a.r.l" and there's been no ability to track. A right pain!

What estimated delivery dates does everyone have whos orders are currently at the uk distribution centre? Is everyones the 10th like mine or does anyone have an earlier date?

Nope, mine says 11th. Used to say 12th! Can't imagine there'll be any change/progress on a Sunday.. Must .. chill .. out ...! (but damn that's tough!!)

Mine was shipped with TNT and is sit in Pudong since the 5th, yesterday. I hope the flight will take off to Europe in a few hours (late evening in China) so can arrive in Europe (dunno where exactly) on Monday morning.
ETA is for thursday and Apple says it is on schedule.

You have got to be near to delivery you were scheduled before me. Both mine got to Sydney this weekend but TNT were slow to update the website and now both theirs and Apple's site is down.

The MBP I ordered later in the day made it to out of China first though - go fig??

Looks like I got excited a little too early. Later today my status changed and the Sydney to Perth transit update has since been removed, so I am guessing both are still sitting at Mascot.

Woo just seen this, thanks. Mine looks like it is now in the uk. I have a tracking number but no courier. It looks like ours were on the same shipment after all though. Do you have a courier yet? Just wondering whether to try tracking ups again in the morning or whether to go with a different courier?

Tomorrow could be looking good!

Saying the number isn't recognised on both ups and TNT still the number is the same as the order reference number though so I wonder if a carrier hasn't properly being assigned yet? Not holding much hope for mine arriving tomorrow but I will keep checking. Hope yours arrives tomorrow though

My estimated delivery date hasn't changed either.

I'll be chuffed if they turn up a day or two early, which i think is more than possible considering the Northampton hub is less than 80 miles from me. Unless there's some kind of import paperwork that has to be taken care of. I'm assuming though it'll go from Northampton to my local TNT which is less than 5 miles from my house but won't be surprised if this is where the extra day or so is added to the delivery time!

I'm optimistic it could actually get here tomorrow

Ordered my MBP 15" BTO Saturday morning 3/5, It was shipped Saturday night 3/5. I used 1-3 Day shipping (I am west coast, probably didnt need it). It says delivery by 3/9, I think it will be here earlier, however.

Mine just shipped today (Sunday) at 1:45 PM. Ordered on Thurs and it says it should be delivered by the coming Thurs. It's coming from Shanghai and weighs 4.80 kgs.

Same as above, think my MacBook is still on UKdistribution centre. Need it to arrive on or before Friday (due on/before 11th so hopefully).

Painful waiting and seeing an antiglare in apple store has made me rethink my choice of glossy, will give the laptop I ordered a weeks use and see how it works out.

It is quite frustrating see that my lovely MBP is sitting in Pudong for 30 hours. Hope it is only a slow update of the TNT website and i am going to see it in Europe in few hours.

I extremely want to have it in my hands soon
