Mine shipped out of China on March 2nd, and it arrived to my house in Tulsa at 10am today! I thought it wasn't going to be here until monday according to FedEx and Apple. This is great for me because I have a photo shoot on Sunday,it's going to be nice to shoot tethered to my new 15" 2.2 i7! I guess paying for the expedited shipping was worth it. How many people are paying for that, how many are using the free shipping?

I am italian and i ordered a custom high-end 13"MPB on 24th February, the day they went out.
I paid with bank transfer so order was processed only the 1st March.
It was shipped yesterday, the 4th March but online tracking shows it still is in Shanghai.
I hope TNT flies also on saturday or my MBP risks to stay in China till Monday.
By the way ETA is 10 March.

I just took a look at my shipment notification email and it says:

Carrier name: Kuhne & Nagel Spedition s.a r.l.

Never heard of this company! I guess this is why Apple are telling (UK) folks that they can't track it until it lands in the UK? And why I can't find the Delivery Reference Number in the UPS system

The K&N tracking doesn't look very useful - guess we can't track there?

I ordered mine Feb 25th, my status just says 'preparing handover to final carrier'. Does that mean the blerk in the van who's gonna drive it up to Newcastle? The estimate says march 14th...

My memory is so bad I clearly can't remember what the person before ne said! Sorry! Let's hope for Monday!
I'm getting quite impatient now!

Tracking just updated now the MBP is on his way Europe. Left Pudong airport few minutes ago.

Any Australians out there ordered and received delivery?

Im in Adelaide Australia and ordered MBP:

Thursday 03/03/2011 at 01:01 PM JST
Ships: 3 business days
Delivers: 11/03/2011 - 15/03/2011

I think most of the Ozzie orders are slowly making their way. Mine are in transit from Pudong and have been for 2 days. Check out the spreadsheet most seem to be taking 4 days from shipment. TNT warned Sydney can take 2 days to clear them.

Mine is sitting at Shanghai with this text: Package received after FedEx cutoff

Isn't this strange? According to the log it should be in Koeln. But it states China. Is it a bug?

Also 11.03 doesn't seem accurate if it's in Germany.

It's not a bug. It is showing that the paperwork for your package have been sent and received in Germany. The package is currently in China.

my tracking still says the same thing it has done since Thursday so it's either sitting in Lost Property at Pudong or more hopefully in the same consignment as yours!

fingers crossed for Wednesday for me!

Does the Apple store work on weekends?
I ordered my 17" AG last night and I have yet to receive any e-mail from Apple. Yet, it is giving me a Mar 9 to 15 delivery date (optioned for expedited)

well, ive had it a whole 24 hours and it has not been switched off! my first macbook pro and it is so much better than any windows plastic laptop i have ever had, even the 'colourfull' alienware mx15.

folks it's worth the 4 - 5 day wait for delivery, now it's here i want to do it all over again, just like Christmas as a kid :D

my geekbench score is below 10837 (no idea what it means as im not technical but im sure somebody will tell me)

Wow... March 17 for an order on Feb 25...

Oh well, we'll see...

Yeah, it's really strange... Mine was likewise shipped on March 4 and I'm said to receive it on March 18.

14 days for shipping?!

Do MBPs come with 64-bit OSX preinstalled?

Unlike Windows, there aren't two versions of the OS. Snow Leopard is a full 64 bit OS and will run in 64 bits if the machine is capable (which all the new ones are).

Mine just changed to "In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule 05 Mar 2011"

i've now got "Delivery scheduled by final carrier"... Refresh your page Doc, I think ours are on the same boat/plane/truck..

Carrier Tracking Number has updated but is showing the same as "Our Delivery Reference" number. UPS site still doesn't recognize the number either as a tracking number or as a reference number!

Assigned Carrier say "UK Distribution Centre".

Just keeping my fingers crossed that it all boils down to early next week!

I ordered my 15" MBP with a Anti-Glare screen on the 24th and now it is so close I can taste it.

Boise is a 20 min drive from here. I've had packages get there as late as 9am and still have been put on a truck for delivery. It annoying they won't let me pick it up because now I won't get it till Monday. :(

My 2006 MBP is felling really old now.
