Ok, I ordered friday night (3:30 am on 5th in Los Angeles). It has just changed to "prepared for shipment." How long is it normally at this status before it leaves and I get some tracking info? This is the first time I've ordered from Apple and I'm very excited. Really, I just want to get it by Friday so I don't have to go another weekend!

Mine too, expected Wed. At this rate it'll have taken longer to travel the length of the UK (I'm in Lancaster) than it took to get here from China!
it could sit in Germany for about 24 hours........but once it moves to Blighty it is quick, usually the same day delivery........
I'm currently going through the 'Germany' phase right now. Been there since 5pm Yesterday. Hope it hits the UK today

24 hours is crazy, specially if all the papers were previously taken care of.
My thoughts exactly. It's amazing how yesterday mine went from China, to Korea, Kazakhstan and then Germany in one day.
Would love to know what the delay is.
Also waiting for the delivery of mine (to Portugal), since I ordered my 15'' 2.2Ghz with portuguese keyboard + Hi-Res Glossy + 500GB 7200RPM.
When did you place your order? Mine was placed last Tuesday the 1st of March.

The Eagle (17" Pro) has landed!!
5 days, 1 hour and 40 minutes after ordering my first Mac is here, now all i have to do is work out how to turn the Windows partition of my brain off and suss out how to use it!!

Shutting off the Windows in your brain will be easy - working out how you ever worked with it in the past will be the hard part!
have to say i'm gobsmacked at how quick it's got here tbh, it's made my Monday just a tad better! Just need to go and collect it now from the missus at work.

Spoke to a guy at UPS today, I thought there was a problem with the tracking and he said there was a problem with some shipments' tracking and that most of the stock which the site is saying is stuck at Donington, including mine, will be out for delivery tomorrow.
Just ordered mine on the 6th of March, delivery is not until sometime between 15/03/2011 - 17/03/2011

I guess I thought that 'We' Aussies could expect the same rough delivery times as Europe and America. As its not about one shipment of MBP but a mix of packages moving from hub to hub. But considering how it's working out I guess I must have been wrong.
Also commiserations on the powerbook. How long did you get out of it??
Ok I am a little relieved cause my and my friend's delivery date changed from 18/3 to 11/3 and status changed to "In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule". But still no UPS nor TNT tracking. UK

My estimated delivery date has gone from the 11th to the 10th. Its still in China though haha. Oh well its all good as I have days off from work on the 10th and 11th
