Anyone's BTO shipped yet? What is the ship weight through the tracking #?

Anyone else get this?:

"A label for this shipment has been created, but UPS does not yet have possession of this shipment. Once we receive the shipment, the tracking status will be updated."

Anyone know what it means? By which I mean, is it to be ignored? My due date is tomorrow...

Yeah same thing. That's all the UPS page has shown since early this morning when the real tracking number showed up on the Shipment Status page...

Anyone fancy ringing UPS?! My bet is that the page will update with details AFTER we've got the kit in our hand! :rolleyes:
 
So I caved and called UPS myself... they told me they don't actually have the package yet!?!

Called Apple who checked some secondary system (Kuhne & Nagel site?) and confirmed it has arrived in the UK. Apparently its in Hinkley, Leicestershire, iirc... I guess UPS get the damn thing tonight. At this rate I just can't see it arriving tomorrow.

What a bloody saga... I thought technology was supposed to make peoples lives easier? :confused:
 
Anyone know about how long shipping from China to the U.S. takes with FedEx? Mines still "In transit" in China but supposed to be here by the 9th at 10:30am.
 
Chalk up another MBP at Castle Donington UPS depot since early Saturday morning!

Expecting it on Wednesday to Cornwall, although a bit disappointed about the 4 day wait with no movement..

My first Mac - very excited :) (keeping the household iPad, iPods and iPhones company!)

The retailer has prepared the shipment and notified UPS, but UPS has not
yet picked it up. It will happen at the end of the day.

Ordred on 3/3.. Looks like I will get it on 3/9 like it stated(was hoping for tomorrow)..

I am in northern jersey. Looking at my coworker's mbp route it looks like from Anchorage to newark nj takes about 6 and half hour

Just got SMS notification from TNT Australia that both Macbook Pro's are out for delivery some time today. :)
 
Ordered mine on 3/3 around 2pm and it just left Alaska at ~4pm PST. How long does it take to go from there if I live in Los Angeles? A flight from Alaska to LA is about 5 1/2 hours so it'll definitely get here by tonight. Expected delivery is on thursday, but I'd love to have it tomorrow. Any chance?

Hoping to deliver today!

It has arrived in the UK, plus also at local delivery branch/hub.

I phoned UPS yesterday after suspected problems with the website tracking tool as it was saying that my package was in Germany for well over 24hrs? They said that that was normal due to customs clearance there.

Anyway item has arrived here just waiting for the "Out For Delivery"

YAY!!

Our computers have been flying together. My tracker says it made it into Oakland 30min ago.
