Same here, shipped about 4:50am from China..
Expected date for delivery is the 24th... Though I hope it is saturday! I will have to wait another week for it
because I had it shipped home, the mail system at my college is sketchy at best..

Don't feel bad, I ordered mine on the 7th, (16gb, engraved) and mine hasn't shipped either. I can't believe they are shipping so out of order even within the US. Usually only Canada, UK and AU get screwed not the midwest (Ohio)
Im actually in Maitland, which isnt that far at all. I'm Shipping to a Busines Address and i requested Expidited shipping, maybe these factors helped in the delivery date. Also it says the service type is IP Direct Distribution, on the FEd EX website.
I'm in the same boat with business address and $10 expidited shipping and it didn't help me. Ohio, Maryland, Florida is should all be the same to FedEx anyway. At least mine still hasn't prepped so if I come across one in the stores I can cancel easily

I don't understand how they're preparing this shipments. Do they just pick the order number out of a hat or something??? You should have already received yours. I kind of want mine engraved and besides even if i did cancel i would have to wait till my credit card clears the charges to go get it at a store.
Mine shipped out this morning as well. 16gig, engraved, ordered on 9/5, will arrive friday morning. I put it on 2 day shipping.
Good eye. Turns out it's the e-mail from apple estimating the 24th. The fed-ex page didn't have an estimated delivery date when I first checked it (or at least I didn't notice one after looking for it)-- but now says the 21st. Let's hope
My 160gb Classic arrives from Amazon on the 20th... it'll be a merry iPod weekend That's the other weird thing, it sounds like some people are having their cards charged well b4 shipping and others don't get charged until it just about ships.
My card hasn't been charged and my bank is super fast to post online, I can buy groceries and check my online account on my phone in the parking lot and it has already posted on my account.
My fiance ordered me a 16GB engraved on sept 5, and it is still "not yet shipped". It was hard getting the order info from her (she wanted the engraved message to be a surprise)
Hey guys, I ordered mine on the 6th at 11:38 AM and its engraved and still says "not ready to be shipped." I called a bunch of times and someone gave me expedited shipping, so I guess that's something. Have to ship it to my house and then have my brother send it to my dorm room.... I used that argument and it worked haha.
