Something similar happened with mine but I have AT&T. The data never switched over from my old sim. I called them and they fixed the issue in less than 5 mins. I haven't had any problems after that.

Yep same here, full signal areas say no service at all. It's happened twice so far. I am running waze at the same time, and many report the same, but it's probably just coincidence.

Nope it's doing the same thing. Inner it's localized to this area or the fact the antennas are different in the iPhone 7. I lose LTE it sits on 3G once it comes back up.

Dow detector still reports network issues

lol it's every single time I take it from my pocket to check my phone and open up an app that uses data, it goes from LTE to blank then 1x and then 3G. EVERY TIME.

ETA: I was on either Facebook or twitter and there were a lot of people complaining about the connectivity issues that they were having with the iPhone 7/7plus and I can't locate these complaints right now, so that I can post the link here. But if I'm able to locate them, I will post the link.

Having the exact same issue here with a Verizon IP7. Was on the phone with apple and they did a full remote check of the phone and they showed no issue. They are going to replace the phone tomorrow. Will see if its a phone issue.

I have the same issue with No Service, 1x to 3G progression and very spotty LTE coverage in my area, which is normally a very strong LTE coverage area.

Yup that's my issue too. Wonder if the new antenna routing is causing it.

@dictoresno Glad to see others having this issue as frustrating as this is. Thought it was a one-off issue. Wouldn't be surprised if this goes widespread as people receive their Verizon iPhones. Anyone having this issue with a 7+? Or does it seem to affect just 7's.

I had this issue but I just called the VZW 1-877 number and they were able to activate for me with no issues, even on the same number I wanted to activate on.

My phone is already activated though.

I have a twitter DM to Verizon's support but they haven't answered me yet.

My issue exactly but just be aware that if Apple replaces the phone then you can't return it to Verizon should you choose to before return period (ex. If you want the plus model or decide that you don't want 7). I was at Apple today and they explained this.

I think we are onto something! Hopefully macrumors can write an article to help bring this to Verizon's attention!

Bumping this to the top. I've got two of the 7 Plus phones on Verizon, and they both exhibit network dropping, where the 6s Plus is holding onto LTE. Carrier settings updated when I first unboxed and plugged the phone into the laptop... maybe another one is needed.

Thanks for this - it confirms replacing the phones will not solve anything. Everyone affected needs to call Verizon because they are saying there are no open cases for this.
