Puh-leaze.... The complexity of what Apple is doing is unprecedented. Of course, none of us enjoy the outages. But the vast majority of people on this board spend a good portion of their lives bashing Apple over every tiny little thing and expect absolute perfection from Apple. I'm sure you'll next tell us that Google, Yahoo, and every other company dealing with complex technology operates perfectly.

This current problem was resolved very quickly. Too bad the hatred and immaturity that characterizes this board will never resolve as long as most of you long to and enjoy heaping hatred on Apple. Look at your name, "Duck of Death". 'Nuff said.
Apple sets themselves up for critism. We know better, our products just work, if you want the best experience buy Apple, we charge a high premium because of the above. Like buying a luxury car compared to a family van. Most will accept the family van rattles but will take the luxury car dealer to task if it rattles. I hold Apple to a higher level and willing to pay good money for it but, will take them to task when they fail.

With all the money and expertise Apple has, why on earth do they experience so many of these issues? You rarely hear about these sorts of things for any other major web services company.

Uhhh. Yes you do.

Look up 'down detector.' If what you say is true, then 'down detector' would only keep track of Apple's services since everything else never goes down.

True that. Years ago, Hotmail crashed, Blackberry's email portal crashed, etc...

Is it that more people use Apple's products, or that more whiners use Apple's products, or more people that use Apple's products are ticked when it doesn't work.

Hmm...

Ah that explains why my app didn't get any in-app purchases yesterday. No attempts at even purchasing happened. Damn Apple, cost me 20 whole dollars or so

I have an iPhone 6 plus and many issues with iTunes and the radio portion of the app. I have spent over 6 hours with Apple senior advisors and the issues are still not resolved even though they reluctantly replace my iPhone. I have erased my phone, restored it several times and still cannot get radio stations to play reliably. Even when I used the radio's first app, when I played the iPhone again it went to a random non existent playlist. I wish I had kept my iPhone 1.

I really liked my iPhone 4s.
