Add me to the UK list!!! I thought it was a local issue too. I see this has happened before. Does it usually take long to resolve?

The App Store for iOS devices appears to be experiencing issues at this time, with many customers unable to access the store to make purchases and install updates to apps. It appears the iTunes Store is also affected.

Affected customers are getting a popup message that reads: "The iTunes Store is unable to process purchases at this time. Please try again later."

The App Store issues have been ongoing for approximately a half hour now, but no outage is listed on Apple's System Status page.

We'll update this post when the issue is resolved. Problems like this are often fixed quickly, so apps shouldn't be unavailable for too long.

Update: Apple's System Status page now displays issues with the App Store, Apple TV, iTunes U, iTunes Store, Volume Purchase Program, and Mac App Store.

It’s just a guess, but I can almost certainly say it’s a dns resolving problem.

I decided to try logging out of my account and logging back in again. It worked for me, in that the pop ups stopped. However, I’m not able to download any apps.

This feels like a much bigger issue than just the pop ups.

Though not yet reflected on the status page, it's fixed for me at least now. I guess we can put down our pitchforks, cancel our marches, and call off the congressional hearings.

Still not working for me - I can't login to iTunes / App Store - So pitchforks raised high!!

Status page now all green. I was just now able to download two of the three pending iOS app updates I had, so at least it's sorta working again.

It is fixed, at least for me, that was not a big problem, they fixed it very fast, only was a pretty anoying. Hope it fixed for everyone!

If you are receiving this annoying popup on ur iPhone.
the itunes store is unable to process purchases at this time. Please do logout from ur iphone iCloud or App Store. And do not login untill apple fix this annoying popup. Try it you will not receive again.

It’s already fixed.

I’ve had the same issue for hours now. Getting frustrated! I tried to sign out and back into iTunes and have struggled. Typical the same time I get a Fortnite mobile invite the App Store crashes

GOOD NEWS!!

I have just checked again and tried to update an app and this has been successful! It would appear the issue has been fixed! Party on Wayne!

It seems to be working now.
It was funny. It would show even when not using the app. Almost like the store is running all the time.

All working here now without having to log back in or out, downloaded an update on my iPad and the iWorks ones for the iMac.

Just imagine this pop up happening on millions of iPhones today! Good PR stunt.
No actually the Govmnt secretly forced Apple to move the AppStore and iCloud over to their Chinese servers. They can't tell us. But at least Students get 200GB!

Pops up even when not trying to access to store (probably something checking in)

I have had to close at least 5 pop up boxes. I demand millions in compensation. I may never be the same again!
