These leaks are ridiculous. It takes away the element of surprise. Whoever smuggled this out of Foxconn or whatever needs to be canned and fined heavily.

I dont know what to think anymore.

I was convinced it was fake 10 mins ago, then real 2 mins ago and 1.5 mins ago I thought it was fake due to the bluetooth icon appearing after he unlocks it.

I'm just going to choose and go with real :D

The more i look at the iPhone 6 the more i beginning to think hmmm maybe the Note 4 will be a much better option for this year at least.

Reason being 5.7" QHD display
3GB of ram
SD card slot for music and movies ect
Notification LED
Slim bezels
16mp OIS with real time HDR & 4K video & F1.9 lens
Decent build & at last better looking
And finally....cheaper than the iPhone 6

Luckily I have plenty paid apps on Android aswell as iOS, so that wouldn't be a problem, and i think i stick with the 5S as a night out and work's phone, until Apple buck up their idea's and give us a phone worthy of the price premium they charge which the 6 just isn't it im afraid.

Maybe the 6S will change my mind again we have to see.

I agree that I he competators have been making very good hardware lately. The only drawback (for me) is that they are running androids, which is a deal breaker for me.

The iPhone 6 is such hotly awaited release that it's impossible to contain leaks. It's gonna be the most popular iPhone yet - millions of people were holding off until a larger screen was available. Granted, I wasn't one of them but to many size matter the most.

Why? The default of Bluetooth in iOS 7 is on, isn't it?

I didn't mean that. What I meant was that the bluetooth icon (next to the battery indicator) appears after he unlocks it, which I thought doesnt happen. But I just tried it on my iPad and it happens on that too after leaving it on standby for a long time.

I think it's real now.

I don't understand in what it makes it easier to use it really

If you grip the phone slightly higher then you can reach all the icons with your thumb because they are closer together. Just a theory. Why else would the vertical space between the icons differ between the video and the photos here?

I also thought that some antennas could be embedded into the plastic bands (Feld & Volk breaking them revealed that they are full)

The "insert panels" are actually connected and part of the main back shell, though there are gaps under the sides of the straight line part of the band but not in the middle part. But the top and bottom "end caps" though are indeed insulated from the main shell, as they probably serve for the twin cell antennas like the iPhone 4S/5/5S.

NFC normally needs a large RF-transparent section to be efficient. Since the Apple logo is reportedly solid metal (even if it's liquid metal, it's a myth that this material is RF transparent) I don't think they can put it there.

Apple has a patent to use the top and bottom end cap cell antennas for NFC. I think this is what they're doing here, and that it may require the cell antennas to be further away from the main body to avoid interference because of the lower frequencies used by NFC (13mhz vs. 450mhz+ for cell).

My impression from the schematics and close-up photos is that the "insert panels" are attached to the main body of the shell with an ultra-thin sandwiched layer of insulating material. I could be wrong about this, but if correct it would raise the possibility of them being used as the cellular antennas and the "end-caps" for NFC (or vice versa). Two isolating breaks, two antennas?

Honestly though, who really cares? (besides Apple). Internet has been showing leaks non-stop and you want this person to pay for taking out the surprise for you? ...

It's real. Some (Chinese) one got a hold of a prototype and bragged. Hope he got canned ASAP.

I will get the phone, no doubt, for the obvious reason of mobile payments and slightly bigger screen. But other than that i am SO disappointed in Jonny Ive.

With all the technology and finesse Apple has (or used to have) they came up with the same huge bezel around the phone between the edge and screen and ear piece and screen or home button and screen.

Ridiculous to say the least. They were so busy making the phone thinner that they lost their sense for design completely. Not to mention the antenna bands on the backside are hideous.

Personally i think if it was only the iPhone coming out, the Apple stock would crash like 20-30%, luckily they will announce the iWatch and perhaps even the new updated iPads, it's their only chance to convince shareholders of continued money coming in.

So to sum it all up: 100% disappointment so far. I hope none of this is true, and i hope they will reveal a whole different look and this was just a bait (or a bad dream)...

See ya on Tuesday :apple:

are u serious? looks good to me and the pics we've seen of the black look sleek. i think the black will be the one to get going by leaked pics, looks gorgeous in black IMO

I mean, it looks alright but not as near as nice as the iPhone 5. Those thick antenna lines are awful whatever way you look at it, no idea why they decided to go with that design. It could have looked a lot nicer IMO. Also the bezel size could have been much thinner.

No doubt the black one will be my pick.

I wish they'd just ditch this obsession to keep the bezels symmetrical and make the top one the size it should be (slightly thicker than the speakerphone/camera assembly) instead of making it look ridiculous just to keep the thing the same size as the home button area.

Huge

This phone is huge! :( I hope the other one is smaller, like iPhone 4. I dont think I will be buying a phone this big, even though it might be a great device.

I don't think Apple will integrate this payment thing in passboock.
This will be the only real killerfeature of iPhone 6, so they're not gonna integrate it as decent as this.

Yesterday, I picked up my friends Galaxy S 5 to see what it would be like to try and use it with one hand. Surprisingly... it wasn't a problem.

As for the comments a larger phone won't fit in your pocket... Come on. Be reasonable.

It has nothing to do with us. If no one would have leaked the info that apple was working on making a watch, samsung / lg / motorolla would never have went all-in on making smart watches in the first place, and thats exactly what its about... Having an edge about a product segment, just like the first iPhone came out. Capish?

Im happy no one was able to leak any info about the look of the iWatch so far.
