You're wrong. I want a thinner phone every year. I care more about thinness and lightness than battery life.

So even if you have to charge your phone every 2 hours you're ok with that because it is at least thinner?

I haven't seen anyone proclaiming that it's the ~best iPhone design ever~, though?

I still think it looks better than the smartphones currently on the market, though.

Samsung - flimsy plastic
HTC One - same antenna bands people are complaining about here
LG G3 - clunky camera style
Nexus 5 - oddly shaped, plastic

I'm actually more bothered by the bezels than the rest of the design, tbh. Hopefully they'll find a way to work Touch ID in a different design.

There was someone a couple of pages back, that's who I was referring to...

Antenna bands on HTC are nowhere near as thick or ugly, I think the M8 has gotten too large though, the One was near perfect.

G3 does have a clunky camera but the front is very nice with minimal bezel, max screen (still a bit large) but the protruding camera on the iPhone 6 is still a let down.

I think the real Apple fans expect better rather than apologizing for them and that's kind of my point, they're slipping in the design stakes. The iPhone 4 camera radius followed the radius of the casework in parallel, nice touch - the 5 and 6 cameras are just thrown in, and now protruding. It's like they've gotten lazy now they don't seem to care.

Me no likey. What's the point of a larger screen if you're using less pixel density? Samsung will be all over this like white on rice.
Why do you think it's less? It's not. It's the same pixel density, just more of them. That's my bet anyway.

The pixels on the iPhone 5 are already so small I literally need a magnifying glass to see them. Is it "better" if I need a microscope?

Agreed. I can always plug my phone in if I need more juice.

At my desk-plugged in

In my car-plugged in

Asleep-plugged in

and so on.

If I can't get to a plug, there is always a battery case.

Electricity is everywhere.

Now that's convenient!

My fault, I should have been more clear. I meant in comparison to competitor devices. Bigger doesn't mean much if you aren't improving display resolution, it'll just look stretched out. As for your analogy, it doesn't make sense in this instance. For the 4" 5/5S that's a reasonable assumption, but for a 4.7" and 5.5" display, you're absolutely going to notice. These may seem small but in relation to a mobile device it's relative, like stating a 480P 37" image will be fine on a 1080P 55" LED LCD, it won't.

this is probably a Chinese fake

The "bezel" people baffle me.

The bezels are there for reason, not because it's impossible to make a phone without them.

Would you prefer they just throw away all of those good reasons and just make the bezel – free phone that you (think you) want, and therefore introduce all the problems that would go along with that?

Just so that you can, ever so childishly, use it first and come to your own conclusion that "yeah maybe the bezels were a good idea"?

The black one in the video looks like the fake one?

You mention all of that, without posting reasons for or against bezels .

Cue "the back is ugly, those thick lines!" comments

Nah, I think they look better colored in than they did in the early leaks. It's not perfect, but neither was the 5. Antennas exist. And it seems these have gotten an upgrade.

Why are the side bezels there? What functional purpose do large side bezels serve versus thin ones?

Anyone who thinks the 6 is the "best iPhone design ever" is a fanboy, sorry.

How can anyone make this statement when the device hasn't even been debuted yet? You're an idiot if you believe every single leak you see.

I still like surprises better.

This is like being a child knowing exactly what is inside that Christmas present on The Morning. Fun to speculate or even peek? Sure.

But oh what a let down when you're ripping open the package & yep, no surprise.

I really hope Tim pulls a Steve and we hear, "Oh, and there's one more thing."

I'm not sure why people are being so rabid to proclaim this as fake - it matches literally all the leaks we have, so why would proclaiming this as fake help at all? It's still pretty much what the 6 is going to look like.

No it doesn't match.
The bezels have been smaller in many of the more realistic leaks.

Can't wait for robot factories so the damn Chinese can't spoil it everytime.

Yeah right, those damn slaves have to spoil everything.

/s

b.t.w. you could build the iPhone completely with robots, but those Chinese kids are just cheaper.

I want one. I will have to buy a purse with a bigger front pocket though. As for the back of the phone being ugly, I put a case on it anyway.

I think it's fake, why would there be more icons displayed on the iPhone 6 than on the iPad ?

This seems more right to me...

I've been preaching the same. I thought they'd keep the same grid.
