I totally dig Apple products, have been getting all the new stuff for nearly 30 yrs! But if this is what Jony and team have designed as the new cool thing, I'm so disappointed!!! That is a first for me. I hope these photo's represent a CLONE!

You must be a true fanboy cause apple products werent that good 10-15 years ago lol.

Yeah right, those damn slaves have to spoil everything.

b.t.w. you could build the iPhone completely with robots, but those Chinese kids are just cheaper.
Slightly off Topic but please point me to the article indicating that iPhones are built by kids.

I would like to know if they changed the camera size and if they created something with Beats by Dre for the headphones. I would be happy with a 13mp camera, Beats headphones, 2Gb of RAM and NFC.

That might be a LITTLE too much to ask for. Apple always makes such small upgrades. A bigger screen and NFC might be all we get. It would be great to get 10-12mp and 2 GB of RAM, but I highly doubt that.

Haha now that it's official, everyone loves the design. I predicted this would be the case, as it happens every year.

While this certainly is a lovely phone, can we get better mic and speaker quality? On my 5S, people said it sounded like I was talking through a tin can, same thing happens on my mom's 5C (different networks too).

Nokia makes great sounding phones and I believe Samsung is also ahead of Apple in this regard.

Remember when iPhone 5 was released and people said it's too tall?

Look at the 1st photo comparing the 5 to the 6, look at the bottom, the 6 is almost 3/4" longer. Now I'm looking at my iPhone 5 now and thinking wow do I want it 3/4" longer/taller?

I don't really want my phone to be taller/longer than the iPhone 5. Can you imagine how the iPhone 4 people are going to feel looking at the 6, it's going to be super tall/long?

Every time I see an iPhone 4 user I always say to them, why don't you get the 5 and the answer is always the same...I like this one, I like the size.

When I got my 5s, I didn't like how tall it looked. I still don't. I've kept my 4s to use at home as a kind of iPod Touch and I think the screen proportion looks better on the 4s. So it's not so much the larger size that bothers me, but how the screen looks in proportion to the body. Reducing the bezels would've probably helped. Of course, it's possible that Apple feels they have to keep the iconic iPhone look with the large bezels and all to prevent a possible lawsuit from another company.

Is anyone here not as excited abt the iPhone 6 like me after looking at these pics now??

Plus to add to it the body redesign this time sucks balls.. Loved the 5/s design..

Is looks just like the iPhone 5/s, only bigger.. Same ol icons.. so looks pretty much the same..

This isnt really tempting me for an upgrade to 6. Think i should try the HTC One M8.. or the Sony Xperia Z3.. or wait till the Nexus 6..

What do u guys think?

This ->> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2YBqucIUrg <<- video (apparently) of the iPhone 6 shows one FATAL flaw that whoever made that model has overlooked... Apple would NEVER EVER put a giant chrome ring around the flash LED, just because (if at all) the camera lense has one - that's like Apple shouting "LOOK! LOOK! A FLASH LED - LOOK! IT'S A FEATURE! LOOK AT IT AND BE AMAZED AND CONSCIOUS OF IT"

Utterly preposterous and ridiculous is such a notion that Apple would draw attention to something so matter of fact... if you'd ever watch "Objectified" movie, you'd know that Apple DO NOT do that, and it seems the makers of this "concept" haven't seen the movie, as Jony Ive CLEARLY states that a feature shouldn't draw attention to itself to make a point about "How clever we are as designers to have solved that problem". If anyone in the Apple world has been paying attention over the last decade or so, Apple don't SHOUT in design language - chrome rings for their own sake are too gaudy and tacky for Apple - that's the preserve of Sony and Samsung, etc. For a camera lense group that HAS to be deeper than the thickness of the body of the device, then yes - obviously some form of protection - as minimalist as possible... a chrome ring - HAS to be there to contain the lenses and protect them.

Research "Objectified" movie, and then Dieter Rams. It just wouldn't happen... unless something radical has changed, which is VERY unlikely.

You must be younger than I. I remember the SE and the Mac II being way ahead of the competition. Back then Windows computers didn't have sound or a mouse. You had to buy ISA cards for that. In the DTP business Windows has only recently gained parity, sort of, and that thanks only to Adobe.

You may have a valid point if you base the comment on pure computing performance around the time that Apple switched to Intel processors, but overall I think Mac has continued to be a very adequate platform and I am basing that opinion on my total familiarity with UNIX and Microsoft DOS/Windows from the early 80s onward.

this is not a absolute experience, my 5s sound quality is awesome.

It's probably fake. Look at the video where he unlocks it via TouchID.

If you look closely, a password is being entered very quickly (he probably entered the password, and cut the video).

That's why he swiped over to unlock the phone via password first. Because he can't cut the video seamlessly unless he did that.

thought something looked fishy there at first. because i don't notice that lag on my 5s

I am not impressed with this leak because it doesn't tell us anything we don't already know or have seen or heard about before. Its a bigger iPhone screen, with iOS on it and little detail more than that. Whoop-de-do.

I'd be more impressed if someone leaked when the 6 is going up for online order. When it actually ships. If 128GB is being offered. Is the 5.5 inch version real and is it coming immediately or later after the 4.7 launch. Those are the things that no one has proven to be able to answer and we probably won't know about until the keynote.

This is great, but where is the 5.7 inch version. I want to go big or go home. If they don't announce the larger version, I may go try the note 4. I've never had an android device, but a large screen appeals to me.

...One user has posted on here a photo that is supposed to be of the Iphone 6 boxes. I doubt that as the home screen on the front of the boxes is of IOS 7, because there is no picture of IOS 8 elements, i.e healthkit etc
there if you look at the passbook icon it has no fourth line as indicated in the pics of the alleged Iphone 6 working model.
Though that may be a fake so does not confirm or deny anything....

could you please link to the said pics of the box? search only brought this thread up..

No keyboard...

I don't know if this has been addressed yet or not - apologies if it has. Just an interesting thought: I have a good friend that is actually in Shenzhen for work right now, and I was talking with him the other morning (night for him) - he was telling me that there are iPhone 6 clones everywhere, a dime a dozen, and they start up, unlock, look in every way a legitimate iPhone, EXCEPT for one small detail... the keyboard. That was the tell (the ONLY tell and he's an Apple guy). When you'd bring up the keyboard... it was Android. Just an interesting perspective from someone that's around there. As far as I've seen in any of these videos, no one has ever brought the keyboard up?
