That is a mighty assumption to say that Mr. Jobs knows that it is not the way to go about it. Well seeing Apples new desire for maximum profits this would be the best way to do it. 50 cent sells ALOT of CD's so adding his brand or logo would only make it that more marketable. Now I don't think this is the best way to sell Quality computers but hell that cat jumped out of the bag a long time ago. Remember Apple is a business and profit is number one so, this is a great way to achive the number one goal of all businesses PROFIT. (not quality, quality only goes as far as profit will allow)

we both agree this isn't the best way to sell Macs, but in Apple's 30 year history, have they EVER co-branded a computer? with ANYONE? and i'm pretty sure the inner city has been around that long. i just don't see that 'Fiddy is the right place to start.

hell, i think the U2 ipod is pretty silly and i like (old) U2.

I think this can only be a good thing. More computers to more people. I'm 100% behind this idea, and hope it happens.

I agree. This isn't about your personal music style- it's about giving people a chance to own an increasingly necesaary device who normally wouldn't have the oppurtunity

This has gone way off-topic in so many directions it's not even funny.

Seriously, folks. Over 300 posts, most of them off-topic/insulting/rude/etc., and only 1 reported post?!
