I loved doing business with them, as it was very high quality goods. I might add their customer service was fantastic!
In 2023 I would not be surprised at all if this happens. It's like last year when McDonald's said the McRib was gone for good and sure enough it came back again in 2023. Stuff like this should honestly be illegal.Plot twist: “We had a fenomenal sale event and raised enough cash so we don’t have to close our business anymore“. We will be raising our prices 200% in the future.
This is the best news I've heard all week. It's like last year when McDonald's said the McRib was gone for good and sure enough it came back again in 2023. Stuff like this should honestly be illegal.
I don’t know if you are joking or not about how it should be illegal, but: McDonalds never actually said the McRib was gone for good last year. Never once, lol.In 2023 I would not be surprised at all if this happens. It's like last year when McDonald's said the McRib was gone for good and sure enough it came back again in 2023. Yes, I was joking about it being illegal. 🙂I don’t know if you are joking or not about how it should be illegal, but: McDonalds never actually said the McRib was gone for good last year. Never once, lol.
The McRib was just on its “Farewell Tour”. Its fourth ’official’ farewell tour. Like all the greats, the first farewell tour is rarely the last. You need at least a couple of farewell tours before it’s finally time… to have another, lol. 😂
Agreed. I have similar feelings with Twelve South. Long ago, bought one of their tripod-y things for one of the earlier iPads. The device was beautifully made but wow, it was not practical and fell over on itself. Crappy product and expensive. Never bought from Twelve South again: overpriced.Sorry to see them go out of business, but their pricing looks to be a factor here. Even at 50% off, I'm finding items to be overpriced.
And that’s when I noticed they was the Loch Ness Monster. I yelled “get away from my iPhone you damn Monstah!”Hey now, they are going out of business. I'd pay tree fiddy.
Yeah, my mother-in-law had a bulky case like this with a zipper for her android. Seemed like such a hassle.I really wanted to like their products but they all seemed kinda tacky. Like, I really wanted a book cover for my iPad but … what book do you know uses a zipper?? I ended up making one for myself that used magnets to latch the cover down. And their cases were soooo bulky. Never did find anything on their site I’d be willing to pay that much for. They had great potential. Just wish they realized it.
This. The price of EVERYTHING is going up. Niceties like this stuff fall by the side. Necessities are the focus. It's not a good time for a company like this to stay in business. I'm not sure there ever was a good time, but now is definitely not a good time.
The only Twelve South product I really like is the BookArc. It also is overpriced but it is well made and has a lot of inserts so I've gotten several years out of it already.Agreed. Agreed on those prices.Sorry to see them go out of business, but their pricing looks to be a factor here. Even at 50% off, I'm finding items to be overpriced.
I liked the book book case in the past but I use my phone too often now to deal with the cover. Book arc is decent. The forte looks nice but I like my anker cube charger more and it charges my phone, AirPods and watch. As someone else said twelve south is pricey for the way things are now.The only Twelve South product I really like is the BookArc. The prices at 50% off seem very reasonable. They only look out of line compared to cheap junk from Ali/Amazon. Real leather made in the US costs money.Sorry to see them go out of business, but their pricing looks to be a factor here. Even at 50% off, I'm finding items to be overpriced.
For some reason, I always found their site difficult to load, i.e. it would time out on my home and work connections, but it would load normally on my phone with wifi turned off. Some sort of obscure DNS issue, maybe. I wrote to P&Q about it, and they basically said, "works for me".Link isn't working for me.
Never mind, site is really slow. Must be getting hit hard.
