I mean that’s exactly what the computer / account password is. You can always just make your account password just four digits or something and then that’s all you have to type in when you need to authorize something, just like Touch ID.

I hope you're joking. There's a big difference in security between something you can type as a shortcut, locally only, and something that may authorize a remote login or access to file sharing.
 
The Neo is for light usages like email, surfing, Office, etc. and no major multi-tasking. The chip is not "inferior," it is Apple's lowest end laptop.

I agree that there is room for something like an 11" laptop.
But it would need to be thin and light, and therefore perhaps pricier than the Neo range.
I would be fine with it costing a bit more. And give it MacBook Pro specs as well. Price is $200 below the 14” and they can take my money.

And maybe “inferior” needs to be replaced with “went to the back of the warehouse and got a bunch of mass produced, unused spare parts and were able to make a cheap MacBook out of it”.
