Apple addressed the problem. Don’t like it? Get a new phone or move to android. Why do you consistently try to change this subject to Samsung. This is all on Apple.
If by "addressed" you mean, "acknowledged", then yes they did. But "addressed" as in "resolved the problem" no they didn't. They don't even acknowledge that it is a problem.Apple addressed the problem. Don’t like it? Get a new phone or move to android.
no your mis-understanding what I am saying. I'm not talking about overclocking here. You don't overclock phones...
I don't see this thread being evidence of that. Where are the posts complaining that a pop-up message warning the user would be an equally distasteful option?
Would they? Do you think that the people who are complaining are doing so because they simply want to complain? Are there any legitimate reasons to criticize Apple over this? The Wounded By Apple League would be whining in full force should Apple create the script.
Called it. We'll see where this goes...will be interesting. The only thing I'm sure of is apple thought this through very will with their lawyers at the 10.2.1 junction.
I think you’ll find that as this is all across mainstream news people will be very annoyed actually and some may take action in court.
If people changed an iPhone 6 or 6S that cost a lot of money, for another new iPhone costing a lot of money because Apple made their old device run slow, and they didn’t tell anyone, then funnily enough people might be annoyed with that!
I assume you have Apple stock?
And on the other hand, do you see why some people wouldn't care?Would they? Do you think that the people who are complaining are doing so because they simply want to complain? Are there any legitimate reasons to criticize Apple over this?

The manufacturer showed you specs when your purchased it. You as a consumer are to expect that performance.
I guess you haven't been following this thread very carefully. I've posted repeatedly that there are people who won't care about it and that they should be left alone and NOT called trolls or Apple apologists. And on the other hand, do you see why some people wouldn't care?

There are 1142 posts as of now, I may have missed one or two. But I appreciate a civil discourse with those who have differing views.I guess you haven't been following this thread very carefully. If it were yesterday’s news to you, you would not comment nonstop on every thread about this issue, would you? This has nothing to do with my investments.
People can take Apple to court but they will lose.
This is already yesterday's news for most normal people.
The cross-banter is actually the main reason I follow Macrumors for Apple products and issues. It provides one with a grasp of overall customer satisfaction (or the converse) on Apple computers and devices. Civility is definitely preferred. If only positive or negative opinions proliferated, the forum would be much less useful or interesting. If a particular topic generates large traffic - this one, removal of the sound jack on iPhones, ports on MacBooks and MacBook Pros all generated huge traffic - it is likely a topic of important concern to both customers and hopefully Apple. There are 1142 posts as of now, I may have missed one or two. You sir, have a good point. But it's tough to gauge the banter on where things actually stand with customers and how the company perception and/or sales might be affected. The cross-banter is actually the main reason I follow Macrumors for Apple products and issues. Make it optional. B.S. that they aren’t excited it fuels sales. That’s absolutely a factor with their software changes.
