New iOS 4.3 seem to drain my iPhone battery like crazy. Anyone experienced similar things?

I have noticed that it seems like my iPhone's battery seems to drain a little faster lately. I didn't contribute that to iOS4.3, but it could be?

Right now it's not a problem for me... still a full day of talking and surfing without issues... but it cuts it close by the end of the day.

I don't think this tells us much, since it was mostly a reaction to complaints. This shows that Apple is listening, but doesn't mean that they have big plans for this little gadget. Maybe they do, maybe they don't.

With the AppleTV being a part of the iOS family, I believe that it is no longer just a "pet project". With probably milliions of these devices out there now, I am sure it will receive regular software updates and possibly even be part of the yearly updates due to its similar iOS hardware as well.

Still crashes every time the screen saver starts.

4.2.1 does not fix this. Am I the only one with this problem? I have to set screen saver to "never" to keep it from crashing.

Does it solve Netflix streaming issues? Are the audio and video now synced?

Edit: Remote App functionality sucks now.

Edit 2: Oh, there it goes. It just processed all of my remote slaps at one time.

Edit 3: Now it won't do anything. Is this an update or a bricking?

Edit 4: Rebooted by doing the "pull the plug." Now it won't load Netflix at all.

Edit 5: Now it's back to not doing ANYTHING! Apple, did you test this stupid thing?

Edit 6: Failed to load onto Netflix again. Now looking at a black screen.

Edit 7: Main menu back, not responding to any remote (app or analog).

Edit 8: Took two whole minutes to respond to any input. (Return to Edit 6 and repeat)

Edit 9: Well, at least youtube works. Even if the videos are out of order.

Edit 10: Okay. Now the system is working fine. Netflix.com itself is down. I wonder if all these updated ATV's created a virtual DoS attack?

Just updated and now in addition to interface lagginess all over the place, I am unable to sign into Netflix. Anyone else?

Netflix loads up just fine for me. Though Netflix still sucks on the ATV. I want to like it, but it pauses like mad and the audio is out of sync way too often.

Netflix works just fine on the Macs, iPhone, and the Wii in the house so it is certainly some issue with the ATV.

Fingers crossed that this update solves or at least improves all the Netflix problems me and others have been having! Time to go download...

Netflix issue should be easy to fix... did you change your DNS on the ATV2 to 8.8.8.8? For me, the cause of this issue was my DDWRT router...

By addressing "audio output" issues, does this mean the audio can now be set to output at 44.1 instead of 48 kHz?

The ATV2 has really been neutered as a serious music server until this matter is addressed, and the only reason I'm still holding onto my original AppleTV.

No access to Netflix now and it's lags a lot more now. I had to pull the power plug after it froze during the reboot. You think they would test run these updates.,,

Twitter is ablaze with people saying their Netflix is down, so it must not be related to today's ATV2 update.

But the timing is interesting. I was watching Netflix when I read that there was an ATV update. After installing the update, I lost access to Netflix. So if they aren't related, it is an AMAZING coincidence.

I also have Netflix audio issues.

I also have wake from sleep issues. Hopefully this issue fixes that as well.

Syncing is a different issue. I just want the OTA iOS updates. It prevents my iPad from actually being a computer as it needs a "real computer" just to function.

The problem is that a fundamental part of an iOS upgrade on those devices other than the Apple TV includes, like it or not, syncing to back up the device first.

The number of ATV2 devices is just a small blip on Netflix's radar when it comes to total streaming devices. I doubt ATV2's rebooting would have any affect on their overall network stability.

Media player firmware is no joke it requires alot of work. PCH, Dvico and HDI to name a few have been at this alot longer than Apple and it's not uncommon for them to release a new firmware that fixes a bug but breaks another feature. Apple has to take ATV firmware seriously and stop treating the ATV as a hobby or pet project. They need a dedicated ATV team if they don't have one already which it looks like they don't.

Mine begins to download and install the update, then stops and says "The update was not successful." I tried a hard reboot, same thing.

How ironic that I'm getting an ad for Netflix here on Macrumors while I'm having issues with it.

Sluggish & no Netflix after update

4.2 made watching Netflix into watching shows in 20 second chunks between pauses. Now this makes the ATV UI crawl and I can get into Netflix period.

Doesn't apple test any of their stuff?
