As a parent of a beautiful special needs girl I truly hope that some day soon my girl can get in her car and just tell it where she wants to go without the need to drive it by herself (she couldn´t). Mom and Dad won´t always be there to take her wherever she needs to go.

I´m sure some companies will eventually offer this self driven cars, and I would love Apple to be one of those companies.

Go for it Apple! Self Driven cars!

Why not just buy Tesla?

Apple needs Tesla to be a separate company because there is power in numbers in order to to gang up on gas powered car companies, a dynamic duo of Tesla competing fiercely with Apple would almost be unstoppable! If I was a gas powered car company I would be quaking in my boots! Also, keeping Tesla separate would help Apple from being seen as a monopoly since it is approaching a Trillion dollar value in market capitalization, the value of all of its stock!

Yes, Tim Cook is that smart!
