yes...

Quit the bong hits for a few days and see reality. Fox on the International level is doing fine. He virtually demonized in Australia for exposing many government programs that falsified the violent crime increase after the gun ban down there.

The only think Murdock and company is guilty of is exposing the truth on those who wish to try to enslave and control us by passing on an illusion of freedom in free government services.

Don't like it, don't read it. There are more of us than you.

Faux wont their little court case stating that they did not have to tell the truth in any of their 'news'. Fair and balanced mis-information.
'fair and balanced' Like 'Beck relates everything he doesn't like to Nazi's lol

having 'Beck pop-up on my iPad praising that kind of behavior would be a nightmare buddy.
:D

I am going to buy 5 of the new generations of the iPad for presents. But for me, I do not look an videos on the internet. Too slow, and too many commercials. I prefer text that you can quickly brows through saving a lot of time. If I subscribe to this i-newspaper, I hope the text articles are separate from the videos. Text is quick, direct and efficient, videos are slow and filled with commercials.

I would so subscribe to this. Big fan of the FoxNews approach (e.g. Fair and Balanced reporting) and News Corp in general. Aside from this, what I am most looking forward to seeing is the meltdown here when Rupert Murdock joins Steve Jobs on stage to introduce this.

Apple should have launched with this on DAY ONE of iPad sales.

It's funny. Most of the media are such leftists that Fox,who are somewhat to the right, but if you ACTUALLY WATCH FOR YOURSELF with an open mind and pay attention do a pretty good job of presenting arguments on both sides of issues on NEWS shows.People start foaming at the mouth at the mention of Fox,but MSNBC is basically an arm,not of the Democratic Party, but it's extreme left wing. But they are A-OK to some people.Example:When all the town halls were going on summer before last, and tea party gatherings, much was made of the fact that a guy showed up with an assault rifle. He never did anything with it,just had it slung over his shoulder.MSNBC used this as a springboard for a discussion of imagined racism in the tea party. They showed some stills of him .They were all carefully cropped to not show any of his skin.BECAUSE HE WAS BLACK.
Wow.
THAT'S unbiased professional journalism for you!
Not saying Fox is perfect, but they are no worse, and are far outnumbered by liberal media-All other broadcast networks and most newspapers.
Anyway, people watch and listen to what they want.I'd never subscribe to MSNBC,but I'd never support having them silenced,no matter what.

Ick. Ick! ICK!!!

Shame on Jobs for getting in bed with Murdoch!

Now I have to get this image of a naked Rupert Murdoch and a naked Steve Jobs in bed together out of my mind.

Ick.

(But yes, shame on Apple for linking up with Murdoch.)

Good point, if only Fox had more NEWS shows.

Unfortunately, even on the Fox NEWS shows many pieces are opinion pieces, or news with a bit of editorial selection (e.g. the Glenn Beck/Sarah Palin right-wing Christian event in DC).

Just because they say at every commercial break that they are "fair and balanced" doesn't mean it is true.

I think C Span is the only way to get completely fair and balanced news on cable. The anchors on that network aren't even allowed to smile because it might make them look like they are endorsing something.

LOL! What planet are you from? Planet Dilusional? Fox news doesn't let little things like facts get in the way of their reportin

You live your life by your moral code and I will by mine. We will see who is on top and alive in twenty years.

And when the right wing steals from the cookie jar they claim they earned it by working harder than their "pinko communist, elitist" left wing neighbor who appears to work just as hard by everyone else's standards. The right winger insists it was their cookie in the first place even though a bunch of other people helped grow the ingredients (on farm subsidies), and they used that new-fangled electricity "big" government "forced" them to have in their rural home to bake it, and that socialist fire company came and put out the stove fire a year back.

Then they claim don't worry - just give a big tax cut to the mega-cookie corp in China on our credit card and we can all have cookies, and if not, well, the crumbs will trickle down to everyone else.

You don't get it. And if the leaders of the International Brotherhood of Cookie Bakers didn't drive up the labor rates, we would not be eating Chinese baked cookies.

Please tell me you're being sarcastic.

Name a company more positive than Apple? They are a US company with high demand worldwide. The whole cellphone industry has improved in order to compete with iPhone. Remember the crappy phones they uses to make? The iPod rejuvinated the music industry.

No I think I captured using everyone else as scapegoats for your own problems perfectly. Your latest post doesn't add anything new to how Fox covers the story.

News Warp

That's what they should call it. Definitely not buying that one. Wish Apple didn't align themselves with News Warp.

'On top'?

When did it become competitive... we're talking about no matter how many times the label 'Fair and Balanced' is used... the content remains the same and biased...
Thus... the Murdoch app will eventually fizzle out due to blatant misrepresentation and bias... ;)

I won't when you don't get any government health care and just die from it. I don't want to save your irresponsible butt.

Well as far as health care is concerned... the Murdoch press [Faux] is a major support of the Rep's and the reps are intent on retracting/repealing the implemented health care reforms covering an additional 20-30 million US tax payers. And it was Faux who promoted the scare campaign of 'darth camps' against the health bill you so desire... Is that what you believe in?

Foxnews fair and unbalanced? Isn't that the worst US news network?

They are quite fair and a reputable news outlet. Don't want to get too far off topic, but News Corp will be an outstanding partner for Apple in their first foray into the news providing business.

If you are not a fan of News Corp, so be it. I for one will enjoy using their news app that they are working on with Apple.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fox_News_Channel_controversies

Before you start bitching about Wikipedia, notice how practically every statement on that page is cited.

That article clearly demonstrates that Fox News is biased and often misrepresents facts. Notice how there is no counterpoint to most of the claims- not because the article is biased (given how Wikipedia handles controversial topics, every inch has been thoroughly gone over), but because there is no counterpoint.

Not sure what all the hy-ster-i-a is about. No one is forcing this "paper" down anyone's throat like it's Pravda and 1980 Soviet Union. Funny how everyone here hoists the flag of "free speech" when Apple's bans an app, yet when a newspaper published by Rupert Murdoch is trial ballooned no problem censoring it or people get nutty like its gonna be the only newspaper allowed in the Apps store. Last I checked there were plenty like NYT, FT, USA Today, etc., etc. Relax people, it's call the marketplace of ideas. It's the whole point of free speech... not fart apps.

Oh, and that same Rupert Murdoch you guys hate b/c his company owns Fox News also owns Fox broadcast network... you know the one that put those shows on full of Palin jokes and makes fun of Fox News like Glee and Family Guy.

Honesty though, what Murdoch should be focusing on is fixing the WSJ app to read more like the actual paper - including the index of companies mentioned in the day's issue. That's what would make me happy.

Most of you are complaining about "bias" with Fox, but I'm curious where you don't find bias. The New York Times? Washington Post? LA Times? MSNBC? Please, those are as biased as Fox is, just the other way.

But it feels so good because it leans the same as their own bias.

And it was Faux who promoted the scare campaign of 'darth camps' against the health bill you so desire... Is that what you believe in?

The Slow to Quick kill program of the globalist to cull the human population to 500 million is quite true. You just can't confront it yet.

I admit it I am biased. I am biased against enslavement. I am biased against mind control. I am biased against those that want to ban guns since they want to slow kill us. I am biased against taxation to penalize the successful. Most of all I am bias against those in the main stream media that want to lie to us.

So yes, I am biased toward freedom and freedom to speak and freedom to hate. And proud of it!

Amen, brother.

Too late

I just sold my iPad. My MBA does pretty much everything I did on it and more. Never used it more than a large gaming pad.
