If this were true pride month wouldn't exist, but unfortunately half the country thinks we shouldn't exist.

More so now due to the antics of the flag hijacker activists. We’re now unwittingly linked to that by association.

Agreed. The original rainbow included *everybody* rather than being focused on the parts of the so called “community” that have the loudest and most obnoxious activists.

I think its cool that they do it, but generally I find the execution with these pride watchfaces ugly and sometimes downright visually insulting.

The reality is, the reason why many in the LGBTQIA community are out, loud and proud is because this sentiment of "shut up about it" you hold led them to suffer in silence and be treated horribly by the hetero majority, sometimes to the point of suicide.

Nobody has ever been hostile or violent to you for kissing your heterosexual wife/girlfriend in public. Gay people born before about 2000 cannot always say the same.

Conservatives have this nasty little trait where if something hasn't happened to them yet, they cannot empathize. "Oh I started caring about the LGBTQ community when my son/daughter came out -- not before then." It's a character defect worth working on.

Look who likes to make assumptions.....hmmmm. Lets not lump people into groups. Lets treat them as individuals. Talk about character defects.....

I have a former super conservative friend whose child transitioned and they not only dumped being an R, but they flat out had to move out of FL, which has turned into a ChristoFacsist zone on progressive issues.

Which specific regressive administration? There's plenty of countries sadly are like that, worse some chuck you off a roof.

In any case, I personally think it's garish, but if Apple wants to do this and sell them, I'm fine with it, they're a private company. I do wish they'd do bands and other specialty things like this for other causes. I'd love to purchase some of these types of products (watch bands) for other causes/charities.

I don't think this is true at all. I've not taken a proper survey, but most all folks I know, from rural to urban, would wish no harm on the gay community. I'm definitely a supporter, no question there.

Same here. I'm a "live and let live" on virtually everything, so long as it's between consenting adults. I live in an extremely conservative area (3rd most conservative congressional district in America) and I don't know of anybody among my friends or coworkers that harbors any dislike of anybody that is gay. There is even an annual gay pride parade every summer that rotates between the three major cities in my area.
