Exactly. Where were they before internet activism became trendy?Brave of Apple to release this kinda stuff these days.
We're talking about a multi-TRILLION dollar company. It's pandering 101.

As an ally I’m not offended. I merely suggested the enforced narrative is worn out and you are here to help validate.
Wish they would stop shoving this stuff down our throat. The social engineering has jumped the shark in modern society. Stick to building devices. Nobody cares about your support of "the new thing" or old in this case..... nobody cares what your preferences are.
it is under attack but you have to wait for the attack? I personally think let the state marry any consenting adults, just don't force it on religious communities, so if a church, mosque or synagogue want to keep to the tenants of their faith, don't try and force them. As far as I am aware marriage is a religious thing as well, in its origins at least. Not sure why anyone would want to get married if not for religious reasons.
How is that different from making up more letters/groups to pretend to be marginalized? They literally added a “+” because of how obnoxious it’s getting. You’re making things up in your mind so you can be offended by them.
Not sure why anyone would want to get married if not for religious reasons.

Yes -- that's how the SC has been going after things .. weakening around the edges and setting decision precedent that puts things at risk in future judgements. It's a long game they play.
"Women" know about this as it relates to abortion.
And now you're back-pedaling...Look who likes to make assumptions.....hmmmm. Lets not lump people into groups. Lets treat them as individuals. Talk about character defects.....

It is a concern when there is potential to try and force people who do not hold the same views to do something that goes against their faith. So live and let live, even if they don't agree with you. It always seems to go the other way though, someone says live and let live, but only if you agree. That's not your concern anyhow. Live and let live

Oh yes! I have pictures of me in shirts with blocks of colors like this from the 80’s. Now I’m going to have to get one of these bands.I wouldn’t even know that’s a pride band. It looks like something that escaped a late 80s JC Penny Christmas catalog.
To be honest I’ve never felt like a victim or second class. It’s just that stuff gets old. I’ve been lucky. Like others have said, most everyone has been pretty nice. We had neighbors a few years ago who wouldn’t speak to us but they were fine with everyone else. I always wonder if the repairman that comes to the house will be cold when he sees both of us. If someone assumes my spouse is a woman am I an activist if I correct them. I’ve been lucky though so no complaints.I feel awful for LGBTQ+ among us for all they have to put up with just to "exist".
I made my point on Page 1.@Blackstick and @VisceralRealist you guys are talented at posting laughing emojis, I give you props for your abilities on that. If you disagree with something I said though, let's talk about your disagreement rather than resorting to that tactic. Make your point with words.
You don't actually believe this. I can tell because nobody actually believes thisPretty telling how the traditional rainbow is almost entirely being phased out…
Looks like we are a year or two away from the LGB being taken out of the alphabet soup.
How so? I’ll double down on being tolerant yet not having the popular opinion. And now you're back-pedaling...
Claiming virtue signaling has grown old fast.I'd just assume you're not homophobic, until you say or do otherwise. Saying you're an 'ally' is just virtue signalling, cringe and patronising now.
I’ve actually had a feedback request in for them to add the original, non-controversial, 6 colour rainbow flag back in as a wallpaper option rather than replacing it with the so-called “progress” pride flag (which seems to become more ridiculous at every iteration). It gets uglier and uglier each year. I hope they re-release the original rainbow band at least as an option. That was actually nice and since then it’s becoming worse and worse.
I disagree and frankly am a bit shocked. I’m not religious at all but I was thrilled to get married. It’s a legal declaration as well as a personal declaration. You immediately get many legal benefits via marriage. As far as I am aware marriage is a religious thing as well, in its origins at least. Not sure why anyone would want to get married if not for religious reasons.
Funnily enough, corporations like Apple do.As I said, it's up to you to decide what flag you like. No one forces you into anything.
Apple’s CEO is openly gay. Why would they not show support to the LGBT community?Wish they would stop shoving this stuff down our throat. At least in the US it’s broadly a financial one, more than a religious one. Married couples never can testify against each other in court, you have immediate rights of survivorship… and the tax benefits are enormous. As single filers I’d owe the IRS $65,000. Being married with kids cuts that tax liability in half.I disagree and frankly am a bit shocked. I’m not religious at all but I was thrilled to get married. It’s a legal declaration as well as a personal declaration. You immediately get many legal benefits via marriage.
I actually like it a lot from that angle. Looks like modern art
