Mine arrived this morning, it's installing at the moment !#

There was no option to "Erase & Install", it just went direct for an upgrade. If you boot from the DVD however, you can wipe your drive from the utilities menu before installing (remember to back stuff up :p).

I made the mistake of performing the upgrade when I really wanted to "Erase & Install" :( So I'm going through the whole process again, only this time booting from the install DVD.

I didn't see any problems after the update, but I know there will be a lot of space wasted with files or apps i've never used. Better to have a fresh start, good job its a bank holiday weekend! :D
 
My installation only took 30 minutes (fresh) I am extremely impressed & defiantly notice a vast speed increase generally.

How long does the erase and install take? If I boot with the DVD in? I need to go out in a few hours...
