Fake! ;)

From Apple's automated phone system: If you pre-ordered SL before 2 p.m., August 26 your order is on track to be delivered Friday, August 28.

I assume this applies to U.S. customers.

At least it does not apply to FI store, because my copy is scheduled for next thurday delivery...

Exactly. Why can't I have a simple Print Screen button? :(

cmd-shift-3 for full screen
cmd-shift-4 to make a selection
cmd-shift-4 (then hit spacebar) for individual window selection
cmd-shift-control-3 for whole screen to your clipboard
cmd-shift-4 (then make a selection while holding control button) for selection to your clipboard
cmd-shift-4 (then spacebar), then control-click to grab individual windows to your clipboard.

That's it I think.

OK, perhaps the last post about delivery times. My delivery did not arrive so I placed a call and talked to a human this time. Those who purchased SL through the UTD program got a special price. That price included USPS shipping (3–5 business days) not FedEx, and shipping ON the 28th ("by" still includes the 28th) not before as those who ordered and paid full-price. It also means no returns or cancellations of the order (I tried to cancel several times as I would gladly pay the extra $19 at the local store to get it on release day—OK, call me a fanboy but I volunteer doing computer support elsewhere and having the most UTD OS is my excuse). So there you have it. You get what you pay for. Who knows, maybe 10.6.1 will be out by the time we get it and there will be whirled peas everywhere.

just stopped by the FedEx Store to pick up my copy of SL, and if all goes as planned, this will be my last post on any forums using Leopard... *crosses fingers*

(is it just me, or is something about that exciting?)

Nothing in today's post either, just in case anyone was going to hang around waiting for Pat again.

I'm in the UK and I just received my copy of Snow Leopard 2 mins ago, courtesy of Royal Mail! Guess I know what I'm doing today :apple: :D

Received my Snow Leopard UTD DVD through the post and it installed perfectly fine without a glitch. (Any UTD customers, alls you get is a paper sleeve with the DVD and a small booklet)

I like it so far feels very snappy. Only been playing around with it for a couple of mins.
