Or maybe his sources have been intentionally fed wrong information, in an effort by Apple to find internal leaks.
That is a very good point.

If Prosser was smart, (and he isn’t) he would keep his ego driven mouth shut until a day or two before an event, instead of trying to impress people with all his verbal diarrhea months before release.

Apple's starting this on YouTube early 6 days .. They are obviously keen.

Live blogs don't go that far. I'm already used to digital events.. Don't change :)

Sounds like a certain 'leaker' was wrong, yet again.
“My sources won’t budge” he says, starting to deviate responsibility when the stakes look bleak.
I didn’t see him mentioned in the article... is it done? Will macrumors finally ditch the guy? Will he become a typo? As in “‘this is the prosser’, oops, let me delete that... ‘this is the proper’”
Tune in for the following events!

Invitation hints:

- "Time flies" - "time" is watch related, refers to telling the time i.e. new Apple Watch
- "flies" is like flying through the air, so iPad Air
- The apple logo is drawn with strokes only possible with Apple Pencil, hence new iPads
- The apple logo is curly and continuous, sort of like blood circulating around the body, hinting at Blood Oxygen Monitering capabilities. The logo is also blue, and when someone has low blood oxygen levels, their body usually turns blue (sort of like how hypothermia makes you look blueish etc), which further hints at blood oxygen monitering
- The AR morphs into a date, again date has connotations with time

Anymore that others can think of? Guessing these hints from invitations are the most fun part before every event :)

I wonder if there is significance to the use of AR for the logo? Maybe one of the products in the announcement has special AR features? Glasses?

Everything, they will not have another Oct event
SO,
- iphones
-ipads (probably not the pro, OR only the 12.9" with mini-led)
-airtags
-maybe over the ear headphones
-maybe airpower
-first consumer apple silicone mac
- apple tv

You know this how? The iPhone 12 isn't even in production yet. They aren't announcing it next week lol. What are they going to do? Show photos of Chinese people in a factory making it for 30 minutes?

Time flies: watch the evolution of #Apple computers was found on a old twitter post from 2013
BVp232rCIAAydLf

What computer design that is evolutionary might occur this year? Yes I know Apple toys with iPads being full computers but is that the real answer?

I see blue to white graidents which symbolizes a transition, the blue symbolizes a cooler CPU/GPU, the blue and white symbolizes AIR, I also see the symbol of infinite in there so that means no caps on iCloud storage

The Apple logo weirdly resembles a fitness track – I wonder if they will announce the new Apple fitness app.

There’s a reddit thread going on right now, being fielded by a guy who claims to know stuff at Apple. He also had this to say about Jon Prosser’s and Mark Gurman.

They don’t rely on me. They have sources everywhere. Gurman is a lot more reserved and likes to just hold discussions mainly and cross check info. Prosser is hot headed and jumps on whatever for headline value. Plus, Prosser’s main source is suspected to be in the press division. Hence the accurate dates but shaky hardware leaks. With Gurman, he won’t even report anything until he’s absolutely convinced. He comes across as a journalist first, really cares about that. Prosser is a YouTuber.

So apparently, Prosser know dates, but not necessarily what will be announced. Makes sense.

As for the rest of the thread, worth running through if you have a spare hour or two. Obviously take everything you read with a giant grain of salt, but a lot of it seem to pretty much confirm what we may already know or suspect about Apple.

Some things which jump out:

1) iphone will not be getting USB-C
2) iMac Pro refresh scheduled for middle next year
3) apple glasses is basically a giant display for your iphone
4) apple has tinkered with touchscreen Macs, but felt they weren’t ready, and the ipad with magic keyboard essentially represents the future of touchscreen MacBooks.
5) Apple is not interested in competing with consoles any time soon.
6) Airtags supposedly to debut with Apple glasses, so maybe not anytime soon.

Rest, read it yourself.
