This guy is obviously a joke. He dont have sources and is just guessing. The only reason why Macrumors gives him any attention is because he has many followers on youtube most of which I assume are other cluless ignorants as him.

Prosser know dates? No, he dont. He is actually less accurate than a average Macrumors reader.
He knew there was an announcement yesterday. He just wasn’t sure about what it would be about.
There’s a reddit thread going on right now, being fielded by a guy who claims to know stuff at Apple. He also had this to say about Jon Prosser’s and Mark Gurman.
So apparently, Prosser know dates, but not necessarily what will be announced. Makes sense.

nobody likes him and it’s why his YouTube was hacked because he crossed some people who trusted him.
anyway, he also says the iPhones are coming next week with an October release.
gurman and others are guessing an event next month that makes zero sense.

Minutes after posting the article to Bloomberg, I'm guessing Apple exec's reached out and told him there would be no iPhone announcement next week (they also hit up other prominent journalists with the same info to control the narrative.) Then the Bloomberg article was changed to discuss Apple Watch, instead.
Based off this, the chance of an iPhone announcement next week is close to zero.

What was he wrong about? They aren't announcing iPhones next week. Production hasn't even started on them lol. They won't be announced until October and won't be out until Nov and probably Dec for the Pros. Apple is the joke for not having their iPhones ready on time when everyone else has their phones out on time.

My point is that Apple informed the world that this was taking place. I’m not sure why the press needed a special invitation. They’d know it’s taking place the same way everyone else did. It’s not like they were notified before the world, were they?

Well I guess originally these invites were only ever sent to Press. Only recently with the live streaming are they really 'inviting everyone'.
In the past, the press would be the only ones getting the invite and it would be shared across the internet

i like how everyone is ignoring that the Apple event logo clearly has an Evil all seeing eye on top and 666 embedded in the logo, but it will be dismissed as a crazy conspiracy even though its there clear as day.
