Reallllly hoping that girl is looking at the screen of a 16" M1_ MBP. I just can't see them trying to cram highly anticipated new macs and iPhones in a fall event.

Long, long overdue.Memojis require Face ID.... Face ID in Macs will be announced
People still talking about an April event need to realise they wouldn't announce WWDC before that. iPad Pro will be a press release. There is no April event.
I had to watch the animation a couple of times and came away with the same thought. Are they going to introduce Apple Glasses to the dev community this year?Is it just me who is wondering if the glasses on the invite mean anything specific related to Apple Glass?
The right one is the SF Symbols app for macOS. The left one I cannot see well enough, but it might be the Transporter app. Can't believe it's already getting close to WWDC. Where has the last year gone? Into the pandemic void, I suppose.
Anyone know what these four icons are on the far left?
No disrespect but think logically about this. The only people that care about version numbers are techies, nerds and forum junkies. The majority of the world that buys computers and phones and sees a software update available just clicks on it and installs it. They don't care about version 11,12 or 99, let alone care of iOS, iPadOS and MacOS have the same version number.Others may disagree, but I would love to see iOS, TVOS, iPad OS, and macOS all have the same major version number going forward. While I love we are finally on macOS 11, I think consumers would better understand if all the versions where equal. And for universal apps we just check for major OS version being > 14.
LMAO you're trying to imagine which model Mac a Memoji is using? Go outside and get some fresh air and enjoy the spring. 😂Reallllly hoping that girl is looking at the screen of a 16" M1_ MBP. I just can't see them trying to cram highly anticipated new macs and iPhones in a fall event.
Have Apple announced an event in the same month as the event, especially after launching WWDC?As several people have already said, Apple has announced March events after announcing WWDC before.
Most recently in 2018, and in 2019
You realize it's a stylized cartoon, right?
That explains the ResEdit user icon haha.I sure miss the days when a new OS version got released when it was ready, not when the calendar said it was time. My first Mac was a IIcx running System 6.0.3.
Strongly agreed. And they're dev tools. As much as I would like Apple Glasses (whatever they may be) I don't think I'll want to be deploying projects via the cli in Terminal on my glasses.Maybe, but it could also just be they wanted the reflection of the glasses as a way to show what was on the screen.

Haven't you heard? Every year is minor update year since 2011.Can’t wait to see what ios 15 looks like I hope it’s not a minor update year
Read the room dude, we're commenting on an announcement Apple put out.LMAO you're trying to imagine which model Mac a Memoji is using? Go outside and get some fresh air and enjoy the spring. 😂
I have to admit, you were not the only one hoping to see a hint in the laptop. First thought that popped into my headRead the room dude, we're commenting on an announcement Apple put out.
That’s annoying as well. ESPN website is the main one I use daily guilty of this.Begging for features? I'm in! How about a freeze button in Safari to prevent automated refreshes. I know of several sites that auto reload on a short timer, which collapses the content I'm currently reading. I end up having to re-expand the content and scroll back to where I was. I assume that is to drive more ads and appear like more clicks.
Ideally: load page to where I want it, hit freeze and the next actual click releases the freeze automatically. Power to the users!
